Time for Microsoft to unveil their next lineup of free games later this month, and like clockwork, our own Xbox Games with Gold August 2022 predictions free games.
Just like previous reveals with Xbox Games with Gold, it is always difficult to predict since Microsoft does not have patterns when choosing their free games unlike Sony Interactive Entertainment with their PS Plus subscription. Fans can only speculate randomly which titles will be chosen as free games for the upcoming month. However, it usually follows a strict format of two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 titles with Backward Compatibility. Do note that Microsoft announced that by October 2022, there will be no more Xbox 360 games that will be added as free games for this subscription service.

The Sims 4 (Xbox One)
It’s about time that The Sims 4 would grace itself on the Xbox Games with Gold. Play god as you control households and its residents and follow scenarios or go bonkers and make your own. It should be the base game only as this game has too many expansions now. Also available on Game Pass PC.
Insurmountable (Xbox One)
A great mountain climbing simulator where it has roguelike features is a good candidate for Xbox Games with Gold. Players will try to reach the peak of a treacherous mountain with limited resources. Use various tactics and tackle on risky challenges until you reach the top.
Halo Reach (Xbox 360)
Since this will be the last month for Xbox 360 titles for backwards compatibility, then it should be celebrated with a bang. Halo Reach should be one of the titles that should be given away as a parting gift for loyal subscribers. One of the best titles of the Halo franchise, this would be a great addition for fans.
Bayonetta (Xbox 360)
Lastly, Bayonetta would be a great pick and also to celebrate the upcoming launch of the third sequel, Bayonetta 3. The original game of the series where everyone got introduced to the sexiest gun-wielding witch who could slow down time and summon demons with her hair.
Xbox Games with Gold Reveal Time
Microsoft has not given a statement on when Xbox Games with Gold August 2022 free games will be announced. Just like before, it should be by the end of this month, which should be around July 29-30, 2022.
