Josie Rizal, among the new roster of international characters in the next installment of Tekken 7 has surged the internet recently and became viral in a matter of hours in the Philippines.
Upon recent fan speculations(Including Jollibee), the developers has finally introduced and confirmed her nationality as a Filipina and embraces the art and skill of Eskrima(Arnis) and kickboxing. Her outfit is also similar to the Philippine flag which comprises of mostly Yellow, Red and Blue colors.
Josie Rizal is one of the first members to be introduced in the ninth installment of the Tekken franchise alongside with Jin Kazama and Devil Jin as of today. There are more members to be announced including Shaheen, a Saudi Arabian character with no background as of the moment and a new unplayable boss.
Tekken 7 was released in Japan in an arcade version last March 18, 2015 and it is scheduled to be released worldwide soon in multiplatforms.
