Will One Piece Odyssey be on Nintendo Switch? (Answered)

One Piece Odyssey is now booming with awesome reviews from fans of the manga and the anime series. Before, it had received a ton of recent game adaptations, but this new game is different from its previous predecessors. One Piece Odyssey is an all-new JRPG game that brings out a new sense of gaming to next gen-consoles but the question though, is there a Nintendo Switch version of the game? One Piece Odyssey isn’t available on Nintendo Switch

Sad to say, One Piece Odyssey is only coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. This bit of news was confirmed last year by the developers of the game and there will be no plans yet for a Nintendo Switch version. According to them, they wanted this game to be focused more on next-gen consoles that utilize higher graphics and quality rendering. Chances are slim but news about it will be made in the near future.

In the past, there have been many One Piece games that have been released for the Nintendo Switch such as One Piece: Burning Blood, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, and more. There have been other JRPG games that debuted on the next-gen consoles as well on the Nintendo Switch like Dragon Quest, Atelier Ryza, and more. The only problem is though that there are technical concerns as the Nintendo Switch is restrictive in its nature and hard to render top-quality graphics, especially from Bandai Namco.
