As the clock is ticking every second, we are about to hit the end road of August. In the past weeks, we were given a lot of great titles. From the adventures of a thief and mercenary to the kingdom invaded by vicious yet adorable white animals, August was a month full of enjoyable experiences. September, however, will be another stage of experiences that we have yet to unravel.

Now, as we slowly enter the door of a new month, we’re greeted with many smiling games as they await the beginning of September. So, wake me up from this hopeful dream when the month ends, alright?

    Knack II (PS4)
    September 5

Mark Cerny is not yet done with the franchise. In the beginning of September, Knack II will be busting homes with PS4 units to invade. For platformer lovers out there and to those who were disappointed with the first Knack, you might want to try the fun demo of Knack II that’s already available on PlayStation Store. You might want to give the franchise a second chance.

    Destiny 2 (PS4, Xbox One)
    September 6

It’s a new direction that Bungie is now taking. They’re dragging their console exclusive title to PC a few weeks after its launch on the PS4 and Xbox One. The Halo creators has partnered with Blizzard to have their game distributed through the Blizzard Battle.net platform instead of Steam. But what’s to get excited for? Well, it’s Destiny, the first-person shooter MMORPG that never made its way to PC in 2014.

Rayman Legends Definitive Edition (Nintendo Switch)
    September 12

Look who’s back, the hero with no arms, neck, and legs Rayman is going to arrive on Nintendo’s hybrid console the Nintendo Switch. Rayman Legends is the most successful installment of the franchise, considering that this is the fifth one. While the Rabbids have invaded the Mushroom Kingdom, it’s time for Rayman to do some action once again!

    Divinity: Original Sin II (PC)
    September 14

The critically acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin is getting a sequel. And yes, it’s still going to be a PC exclusive at launch. PC gamers will get the taste of the upcoming fantasy RPG sequel from Larian Studios first. Rising from the Early Access state, Divinity: Original Sin II will finally launch in just a few more weeks.

Dishonored Death of the Outsider (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
    September 15

With Dishonored 2‘s commercial success, it’s getting an expansion after a year from its launch. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will focus on Billie Lurk’s greatest assassination attempt on the god-like figure – the Outsider. Players will venture deep into the eerie corners of Karnaca in search for the Outsider’s origin and story. Death of the Outsider has been considered to be the conclusion of the Dishonored story.

    Metroid: Samus Returns (3DS)
    September 15

After the announcement from Nintendo’s Treehouse at E3 this year, everyone was excited for this next installment of the Metroid line-up. Metroid: Samus Returns is considered to be a re-imaging of the the second installment on Nintendo’s Gameboy, Metroid II: Return of Samus. 3DS owners will get to experience the classic side-scrolling action with Samus Aran!

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite (PS4, Xbox One, PC)
    September 19

Capcom’s crossover fighting title is getting its 6th installment, and now it’s better than ever. We got our hands on Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite at PlayStation Experience 2017 South East Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The mechanics were unarguably easy and it’s targeted for both casual and veteran players. This latest installment will also have a huge story mode that the previous Marvel vs. Capcom never had.

    Cuphead (PC, Xbox One)
    September 29

A run and Gun Platformer designed like the surreal cartoons of the 30s

Probably the only reason to play on your Xbox One again. Developed by StudioMDHR, Cuphead is heavily inspired by the works of the 1930 cartoonist Max Fleischer. Considered to be a run-and-gun platformer, Cuphead nails the classic cartoon vibe of the early 1930s while giving it a fresh revival of the roots of animation.

    Star Fox 2 (SNES Classic)
    September 29

Aside from Cuphead giving the classic toon vibes, the cancelled Star Fox 2 is finally making its way after 22 years! Now, all of you might be wondering if it will make its way to Nintendo Switch, 3DS or the Wii U, don’t hold your breath because it’s not going to. Star Fox 2 will be an exclusive and part of the games included for the SNES Classic micro-console.
