Is the LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition Worth It?
The LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition isn’t worth it at all. Baring the Year 1 Drive Pass, the edition itself seems barebones with a few cosmetic options and some Coins thrown your way. It’s much too expensive to be asking $99.99 USD for it.
We don’t even know if the DLCs coming after the game’s release will be any good. Paying an extra $40 USD for it sounds quite expensive. You’re better off waiting until you get reviews online to see if the game itself is even that good before thinking about the DLCs.
To compare the prices, the LEGO 2K Drive standard edition is $59.99 USD but the Awesome Edition is $99.99 USD. That’s a large difference in price tags between the two despite the fact that the more expensive edition isn’t really offering anything we know is good at the moment. If you really want the game, just buy the standard one.
