One of the secret weapons in Remnant 2 is the Plasma Cutter rifle, which is a long gun that deals a fatal amount of damage to a single target. How to Get the Plasma Cutter in Remnant 2?
The Plasma Cutter can be acquired from Titan’s Reach, which you can find on N’Erud. The room where the weapon is inside Titan’s Reach is locked, and you’ll need to equip the Navigator’s Helm to open it. The door to the Plasma Cutter will unlock after it scans you with the helm, and you can head in and take it.
Since many areas in Remnant 2 are procedurally generated, there is no exact location for Titan’s Reach. However, Titan’s Reach itself seems to be spawning in the second overworld area of N’Erud. You might have to keep rerolling in N’Erud’s Adventure Mode until it spawns. When you’re roaming around, look for what seems to be a crashed alien spaceship and head inside.
There is a large hole on the side of Titan’s Reach that you can enter. Once inside, equip the Navigator’s Helm because you’ll need it to unlock a door. There is a scanner inside the main hall of the ship that will check to see if you’re wearing the helmet. If you are, it will open the door to the Navigation room, and you can head inside and pick up the Plasma Cutter.
The hardest part about getting the Plasma Cutter is acquiring the Navigator’s Helm itself. We have a separate guide for where to find its location. It’s impossible to get the Plasma Cutter without the Navigator’s Helm.
Once you get your hands on the Plasma Cutter, you’ll understand why this weapon is one of the best in Remnant 2. It deals 400/s damage even at its base level. You can upgrade this weapon but it’ll cost Lumenite Crystals which can be pretty hard to find. The Plasma Cutter deals concentrated damage on a target by firing a beam making it a great weapon to use against boss fights, especially those with the hard-to-deal-with boss modifiers.
Plasma Cutter comes with the mod Heat Sink, which prevents overheating and multiplies the damage it deals by 3x. This lasts for 20 seconds. Because of its high damage, you’ll want to take advantage of this mod and upgrade the Plasma Cutter as much as possible.
