Payday 3: How to Turn Off Power to the Gate in No Rest for the Wicked

One of the first objectives you’ll get in No Rest for the Wicked in Payday 3 is to turn off power to the gate. Shade tells you by intercom that the power to the vault gate in the SCB Bank is being powered by something but doesn’t necessarily tell you what it is. As such, this guide will show you how to turn off power to the gate in Payday 3, so read on.

How to Turn Off Power to the Gate in Payday 3?

Find the switch and interact with it to turn off power to the gate in the SCB Bank. This switch can be found on the first floor IT Room or the second floor in the small room next to the offices. Being seen by civilians while interacting with this switch will cause them to become suspicious.

Payday 3 randomizes the locations of its objectives per game. So while you’ll always get the same objective to turn off the power to the gate in No Rest for the Wicked, the location of the switch won’t be found on the same spot as your previous playthroughs. It will remain the same location if you vote to restart the game.

We have a complete No Rest for the Wicked walkthrough if you’re planning to go the stealth route to the vault. Turning off the power to the gate isn’t the only thing you need to do to get the vault gate open.

The objective to turn off power to the gate is only available if you decided to sneak past the guards and get the money without any trouble from the police. This objective won’t happen if you immediately put on your mask and go in loudly as your task will be to set thermite above the vault instead.
