    Beren’s location

To start the Claw Them into Shape quest, you must talk to Beren at his tent which is east of the Borderwatch Outpost and south of Moonglow Garden. You can also speak to Eli at the training grounds as he will tell you the location of Beren. Beren will be at his tent mostly during afternoon or nighttime.

How to Complete the Claw Them into Shape quest

Beren will ask for your help in finding some weapons and a motivated soldier. In order to do so, progress through the story until you reach the city of Vernworth.

Procure weapons and find a motivated soldier

    Humphrey’s location

In the city, look for a man named Humphrey who is looking for someone to train him. You can then tell him about Beren and he will go to Beren to start his training.

Next, you will have to bring Beren at least three sword-type weapons which can be obtained from chests or simply bought from weapon smiths; any sword will do, so go for the cheap ones. Head back to Beren and hand him over the swords to complete the objective. In case Beren is nowhere to be found near his tent, simply rest up for a day and he should show up once again.

    Have a bout with Beren

Beren will then challenge you to a match with him over at Borderwatch Outpost. Make your way to the training grounds where you will face against Beren. The first one who goes out of the ring loses; you will still complete this objective even if you lose.

    Follow Beren

After the fight, a soldier will bring news that a goblin pack has attacked nearby. Follow Beren to the campsite where the wounded soldiers are at and you will complete the quest. You will be rewarded with 1,200 XP and 4,500 G. This quest also leads up to the Beren’s Final Lesson quest.
