Game developer Netherrealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently announced that Mortal Kombat X Mobile will be having some changes soon.
Mortal Kombat X Mobile name to change
The name of the video game will be changed in lieu to the recent announced of the upcoming video game sequel Mortal Kombat 11. Since it became such a hit when it was launched together with its main version, the mobile version should also get some upgrades as well. The X and Mobile words will be dropped from now on and it will be now named as Mortal Kombat like the game franchise.
The announcement revealed that it will incorporate more of the franchise’s enormous universe. It is safe to speculate that more characters and costumes from the 11th title will be appearing in the mobile title as well.
The game is now available to download for free on iOS and Android.
