Yes, the development of the Fighter Pass Volume 2 for popular action fighting game Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been affected by the pandemic.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Next Set of Fighters Might Get Delayed

In a recent copy of Famitsu magazine, game director Masahiro Sakurai revealed in his column the situation of the development for Fighter Pass Volume 2. He was supposed to meet up with one of the publishers of a certain character that will be included in the pass, but due to COVID-19, the meeting was postponed indefinitely.

As a result of that situation, it is likely that the development might not go on schedule. The release might be super delayed as well. He also predicted that more games will be delayed due the Coronavirus in the near future. He revealed that game development has really slowed down with this pandemic going on.

And as always, stay safe out there guys!

    Thanks DualShockers.
