If you’re a completionist who wants to earn every achievement in Forza Horizon 5, it helps to know what you should fill your checklist with. We made a complete list of achievements that you can acquire for Forza Horizon 5, how to get them, and their rewards.

    Forza Horizon 5 Achievements

There are a total of 53 achievements in Forza Horizon 5 and all of them are worth 1,000 gamerscore.

While the descriptions for gaining these achievements are relatively straightforward they can take a while to get. Some of them are unavoidable, such as early in the game you’ll achieve Welcome to Mexico as soon as you visit the Horizon Mexico Festival site. Some though require a bit more grinding, such as buying all the houses which would require a pretty penny.

How to Unlock Every Forza Horizon 5 Achievement List

Here’s all the achievements you can get in Forza Horizon 5 arranged alphabetically, how to get them, and how much Gamerscore reward you’ll get on accomplishment.

A Forza Edition to my Collection

Earn a Forza Edition car from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin.

This achievement is entirely dependent on luck as Forza Edition cars are as rare as the Holy Grail. You’ll only be able to achieve a Forza Edition car via wheelspins which you can earn via progressing the Accolades or your Car Mastery for each car that rewards a wheelspin.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Adaptable

Complete the On a Wing and a Prayer Showcase Event.

Complete the first showcase event “On a Wing and Prayer” right after arriving at the Horizon Festival. This has you racing against a large plane. Complete it and get the achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Adrenaline Rush

To get this achievement is simple, build the Horizon Rush Outpost.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    A Heart of Gold

Send another player a Gift Drop.

Send another player one of your cars. This will remove the car from your collection though so choose wisely. You’ll be able to gift another player a car after your first barn find early in the game.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Album Cover

Take a photo of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE for Horizon Promo.

This requires a bit of spending on your part. While taking a photo isn’t a daunting task in Forza Horizon 5, buying a Mercedes-AMG ONE is as you need deep pockets for it. You need a whooping 2.7 million credits to buy the car. Take a look at our guide for earning money fast in this game.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    An Item Of Extreme Value

Discover and photograph the Golden Tlaloc Totem.

In the middle of doing the Tulum Expedition, you’ll be tasked with going through the ruins with photographing the Golden Tlaloc Totem as an optional objective. Taking the photograph earns you the achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    A Royal Affair

At sunrise, take a photo of your car with some monarch butterflies at Hotel Mirador Balderrama.

Go to Hotel Mirador Balderrama on the northeast section of the map, near Copper Canyon. Head downwards towards the road at sunrise and take a photo of the monarch butterflies with your car in the frame. The butterflies will be day all morning and once you’ve taken the photo correctly, you’ll get the achievement

    Hotel Mirador
    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

Ask Any Racer, Any Real Racer

To get this achievement, build the Horizon Street Scene Outpost.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    AWDyssey

To get this achievement, build the Horizon Wilds Outpost.

You’ll get this if you go through the Forza’story’, but just to be clear: if you hit start, go to the ‘Campaign’ tab and scroll down to Horizon Adventure, you’ll see a map. Each discipline ticket on the left unlocks a new Horizon outpost. Horizon has five outposts (besides the default Mainstage):

    1. Horizon Apex
    2. Horizon Wilds
    3. Holizon Baja
    4. Horizon Rush
    5. Horizon Street Scene

Each outpost has an achievement that may be earned by earning enough Accolade Points to raise your fame level. Simple.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Better Than New

Restore 14 Barn Finds in México.

Locating all barn finds is not easy. While they don’t cost you anything unlock player houses, they have certain unlock requirements that make them difficult to get. And even if you do unlock and gain a barn find you still have to wait until they’re at working condition. There are a total of 15 barn finds.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Cactus Makes Perfect

Smash 500 cacti during México’s Wet Season.

You have to wait until wet season in Mexico. When the season is rainy, head to eastern part of Dunas Blancas. If you go off road you’ll see cacti which you should smash. 500 cacti to be specific to earn this achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Complete Collection

Find and smash all 250 Bonus Boards in México.

You’ll have to take some time exploring the map of Mexico. This achievement requires that you smash all 250 bonus boards scattered around the map. The problem with this is that a board won’t just pop up on your map unless you’re in real close proximity. Even after doing every event in the game, you’ll still be missing a few. If you really want to know the location of every bonus board, then be prepared to pony up some dough as you can buy the locations for your map for less than $5 USD.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Chicken Dinner

Win your first game of The Eliminator.

You get this achievement by winning your first Eliminator match. And that isn’t easy to be the last one standing. We suggest getting the fastest cars in the game you can find as they’ll give you an edge in the competition.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Cover to Cover

You need to earn 3 stars for all chapters in a single Horizon story.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Dust in the Lens

Take a photo featuring the Gran Telescopio and a dust storm.

The Gran Telescopio is where you need to go for this achievement. Thankfully it’s easy to find as it is one of the landmarks of your map. What’s a bit more challenging is waiting for the right time for a dust storm to appear. You need to take a photo of both the Gran Telescopio and dust storm in the same frame.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Far From the Mudding Crowd

To get this achievement, build the Horizon Apex Outpost.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    First Love

Pretty easy achievement to get. Just purchase your first car from the Autoshow.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Fit to Print

Take 50 photos of Legendary cars for Horizon Promo.

Taking photos of 200 different cars will definitely be a bit cumbersome to earn this achievement. But there is an easier way to do things. At the start of every race, simply photograph every car in the competition. As you change car classes, the opposing cars will also change giving you more chances to take photos.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Ford of the Wings

Earn 3 Stars at the Eagle’s Perch Danger Sign in a Ford Supervan 3.

You need at least 500,000 credits to buy the Ford Supervan 3. Once you have it in your possession, you need to head to the Eagle’s Perch Danger Sign which is located at the bottom right corner of the Mexico Map. It’s Danger Sign is located left of the Ek’ Balam Ruins and near the Bueno Esperanza house.

In order to get the achievement, you need to jump at least 289.6 meters in the air with the Ford Supervan 3. Make sure to get a good run-up before attempting the jump so you don’t need to keep going back and forth.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Front Runner

Finish 5 Horizon Tour Race Events ahead of all Drivatars.

You have to win five races against other players which may be challenging depending on their skill. There’s some good racers out there so you’ll have some problems getting 1st place.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Good Carma

Give another player some Kudos to show your appreciation.

Getting this achievement is fairly simple; just give another player a kudos in anything community made. Once you’re finished with an event a pop up will ask if you liked it, and just press “like” and you’re good to go.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Gotta Smash ‘Em All

    Complete 5 Seasonal Smashable Challenges.

Go to your festival playlist. There’ll be quite a bit of events going on. Just check your Forzathon Daily Challenges and look if you have “seasonal smashable challenges” just complete five of these and you get the achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Hall of Famer

Reach the Horizon Hall of Fame.

In order to get this achievement, you need to be in the hall of fame. Continue doing activities until you earn enough Accolade Points for an Adventure Ticket. Once you’ve gone through every Horizon Adventure ticket and complete all events, you’re in the Hall of Fame.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 50G

How To Race Friends and Influence People

Earn 3 stars in the ‘Tristan’ Chapter of the ‘Born Fast’ Horizon Story.

You’ll need to be in the Hall of Fame to get this achievement. It requires that you earn 3 stars in the Tristan Chapter of the Born Fast Horizon Story. The Horizon story itself can be unlocked in the Horizon Street Scene ticket which will put you in a series of 1v1 races against other drivers across the map. You can complete these without being in the Hall of Fame.

The Tristan Chapter can only be accomplished by winning a race of 8 but you can’t do that unless you’re in the Hall of Fame.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Icebreaker

Participate in a Horizon Arcade Event.

After the game’s prologue, Horizon Arcade Events will pop up across the map. Just go to one of the pink circles and wait till the event starts. You don’t even need to win, just participate and the achievement is yours.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    I Have the High Ground

Win 3 Rivals Events in 3 different PI Classes while driving the same car.

In order to get this achievement you have to beat 3 rivals while driving the same car in different PI Classes. Head to the Rivals page under Online and select a track which will have you beating your rival’s best time.

How you get a single car into different classes means you have to upgrade it. It will cost 50,000 credits for the upgrade for each level so you’ll need a total of 150,000 to get this achievement. We recommend getting an A class car that you feel comfortable with. Beat your rival’s time then go back and auto-upgrade your vehicle in the garage.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Jackpot

Fully complete a run of Super7.

To get this achievement, you just need to finish any Super7 run. Super7 are essentially community made challenges where you’ll have to complete a challenge one after another. So they can be a bit unpredictable. Thankfully you don’t have to complete all seven at once. If you have a challenge that’s struggling to finish, reshuffle the card.

To get to Super7 events, just go to the pause menu under Creative Hub.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Living Legend

Earn 294 stars from PR Stunts in México.

There’s only 309 stars in total to achieve from these stunts so that’s pretty much most of them.

There are five different disciplines for PR events:

    • 31 speed traps
    • 20 danger signs
    • 20 drift zones
    • 22 speed zones
    • 10 trailblazer gates

This is going to take time to earn this achievement. You’re going to need a variety of good cars suited for each discipline.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 50G

    Long Gone

    Win the Goliath Race Event.

For further information, visit the Horizon Adventure map’s Mainstage tab. If you win the event, you get this. Because this is one of the game’s longer races, don’t be afraid to utilize the rewind option if you lose concentration.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Manufacturer Affinity

    Earn a Manufacturer Bonus.

You’ll gain a Manufacturer Bonus if you unlock the majority of a manufacturer’s automobiles (pause menu > Cars tab). It’s actually quite simple, as several manufacturers just offer one automobile worth 25,000-50,000 credits. When hovering over a car in the Car Collection screen, click the Y button to buy it.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Mi Casa

Unlock the first Player House. The Casa Bella.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Min, Meet Max

Complete all Events in a Festival Playlist Series.

The Festival Playlist in the Pause Menu has a lot of events to finish before the season ends. If you scroll right, you’ll see categorized events like races, PR events, and online stuff. Do them all to earn this award.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Mogul

    Purchase all 7 Player Houses.

The Mogul achievement is pretty simple and straightforward. But it’ll cost you credits and it’ll cost you a lot. Every player house has unlock requirements so you won’t be able to just buy them off the bat. In total, all player houses cost a sum of 10,050,000 credits. The first player house you get early in the game will be free however.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    New Tune

Find a place to install the Horizon Pulse Radio Beacon.

On the Tulum Expedition (part of the Road Racing), in addition to photographing the Golden Tlaloc Totem, you can also picture the Radio Beacon. Again, this is an optional task, so make sure you complete it to earn this award. Again, just ride around the ruins and an Accolade icon will appear on the map, one of which can hold the Radio Beacon.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    No Stone Unturned

    Complete your first Expedition.

‘Expeditions’ are new features to Forza Horizon 5, which are more exploration and story-based activities. There are five, one for each of the Adventure page’s outposts:

    1. Cross-Country Racing has the Baja Expedition
    2. Dirt Racing has the Jungle Expedition
    3. PR Stunts has the Canyon Expedition
    4. Road Racing has the Tulum Expedition
    5. Street Scene has the Guanajuato Expedition

Finish one of these to earn this achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Putting on a Show

    Win every Showcase Event.

There are Showcases dotted over the Forza Horizon Adventure area. One of the first in the Forza Horizon Adventure (the second in the Mainstage category) is ‘On a Wing and a Prayer’. The remaining three are as follows:

    1. Flood, Sweat, and Gears – The third ticket in the Dirt Racing Outpost line-up to unlock.
    2. Buggy and the Beast – In the Cross-Country Racing outpost line-up, this is the second ticket available.
    3. Catch Me If You Canyon – The second ticket in the PR Stunts outpost line-up is the Catch Me If You Canyon ticket.

Remember, you must win! The rubberbanding makes it so you win by the smallest of margins, so don’t worry, it’s not hard.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Race Into Action

    Complete any Horizon Race Event.

It’s as easy as pie. Completion of a Horizon race event is required, regardless of the type of event. This is a skill you’ll learn on your own.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course

Win 80 different Race Events in México.

It says win, so reduce the difficulty if you have to. It also says different, so you can’t repeat events. Do the fastest races, which are the drag races, though they are few. It’s an excellent way to make money and Accolade Points anyway, so don’t worry about it.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 50G

    Ride and Seek

Discover and drive every road in México.

Forza Horizon 5’s Mexico has 578 roads that must be finished in order to gain this achievement. Most of them will be sorted out at this point if you’re doing the 80 different races achievement. If not, go back to the map and remove all the other icons with rb.png, then see which roads you still need to get. Basically, all roads must be white or red. Main roads should be white, and side roads red. Thankfully, we got the achievement while we were short of six roads, so hopefully that’s the case for many more. Watch out for those little, easy-to-miss roads (as was the case in Forza Horizon 4).

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Show Me Your Moves!

Play any EventLab Event created by another player.

Start by pressing the Start button, then selecting the ‘Creative Hub tab, and finally selecting EventLab. Participate in an event and earn an achievement, winning is not a requirement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Seasoned Veteran

Complete a Festival Playlist activity in every season.

On the main campaign tab, select start to view Festival Playlist. Inside are seasonal activities to participate in. Do one of those per season to gain this achievement. This will take a while, as the playlist seasons only refresh every week. Time, not duration or effort. Just make sure you come in once a week to do your event and get some points.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 50G

    Stunning Photography

Take a photo during a tropical storm.

This one comes from performing the optional objectives and trying to get the An Item Of Extreme Value Achievement at the same time. Which you should.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

There’s Always Money In The Baja Stand

    Build the Horizon Baja Outpost.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    This is The Way

Start a new chapter of the Horizon Adventure.

In brief, accomplishing something in Forza Horizon 5 earns you ‘Accolade Points,’ which you can use to buy a ticket for the fancy Horizon Adventure map. Simply spend the ticket on a new chapter to unlock this accomplishment.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Tourist Attraction

Complete your first Horizon Tour Race Event.

The Horizon Tour Race Event is essentially Forza Horizon 5’s multiplayer mode – the enormous green icon can be seen below the large volcano in the north-west corner of the game’s map (La Gran Caldera). If you successfully complete an event, you will receive this award.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

    Treasure Hunter

Find all Treasure Chests in a Festival Playlist Series.

The Treasure Chest seasonal treasures will be available throughout the year, so keep an eye out for them when they appear. If you can track them down, you’ll have accomplished your goal.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Unbeatable Triumph

Win 6 different Race Events against Unbeatable Drivatars.

This could have been one of the game’s most challenging achievements due to the ‘Unbeatable’ difficulty. Drivatars are by far the most unpredictable and difficult to obtain – if done properly.

In order to succeed, you need to perfect every corner, use assist features like driving line, breaking lines, and rewind, but you also need to be a bit shifty and use other drivers as objects whenever possible, and if that doesn’t work you need to find and equip the best tune setups on the best suited cars.

Remember that the car you’re in dictates the other cars’. For example if you’re driving a sports car, they’ll be too, which could be difficult. For a successful race, make sure you have the correct car and tuning, and utilize a lot of rewinds!

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Unlimited Prowess!

Complete Round Three in all 5 Themes of Horizon Arcade.

Each of the five themes in Horizon Arcade (the pink circle dotting the Mexico map) has its own unique style: Air Event, Chaos, Drift, Speed and Wreckage.

Hovering over the symbol reveals the event type. To earn this achievement, you must not only play all five but also complete the third round in each of them which is 10 minutes for three rounds. It’s simple if you have a good team. Just remember to keep track of your events.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Viva Horizon!

Unlock your first Horizon Finale Event.

To access the ‘Finale Events’ (such as The Goliath, The Marathon, etc.) you need to spend all your Accolade Points on one stage (Mainstage unlocks The Goliath, ). The last one is the Horizon Finale. Unlock it to earn this achievement.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    Water Performance

Earn 3 stars at the Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazers within 2 minutes.

The descriptions and achievement itself are quite confusing. Instead, go to the “Water Performance” challenge in the Accolades menu and pin the related assignment. It rapidly becomes evident that the achievement and the challenge are two distinct things. To get this achievement, you must 3-star both the Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazer activities in 3 minutes 30 seconds.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 20G

    Welcome to Mexico

    Arrive at Horizon Festival Mexico.

Simply head to the Horzion Festival in the game’s prologue to begin. This is the first achievement you’ll be able to unlock in Forza Horizon 5.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

You Could Say I’m a Fan

Earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a collection of 25 or more cars.

BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, and Porsche are among the automakers boasting 25 or more cars, however not all may be bought outright. All of them require a little Wheelspin luck, completing Accolade objectives and unlocking them in events.

For starters, avoid Ford, as they have 58 cars in the game, and you need to unlock most of them to obtain the Manufacturer Bonus achievement. Also, Porsche is just too pricey, as is Ferrari. So for this achievement you can go for Chevrolet and BMW.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 30G

    You’re the Champion

Win any Event in Horizon Open.

The big button in the middle of the Online tab takes you to the Horizon Open page, which has four events:

    • Open Drifting
    • Open Racing
    • Playground Games
    • The Eliminator

Get this by winning an event. Playground Games will put you in a team event with a 50/50 chance of winning so it’s the best option to get this achievement fast. Even if you’re not very skilled, you’ll ultimately win one.

    • Gamerscore Reward: 10G

The achievements for Forza Horizon 5 are pretty standard. There aren’t too many of them that you’ll spend a lot of time trying to acquire them all, but there isn’t so few that you won’t feel like they’re spread out. They’re an excellent way into enticing the players to trying out all the game has to offer. The achievements in Forza Horizon 5 are quite varied and offer a lot of freedom.

Of course, Forza Horizon 5 is new and as the game receives DLC and further updates the list of achievements could expand.
