Hard West 2 Guides Featured Image 3

The Poker Cards in Hard West 2 aren’t just for show, impressive looking they may be. They offer base stat increases for one type of stat and if you can form a hand with them, they can unlock a character’s true potential.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Poker Cards – what they do – but more importantly, where to get them.

What do Poker cards do in Hard West 2?

Poker cards increase the value of the game’s 4 critical stats – Luck, Speed, Health, and Bullseye Chance. Characters with more than 100 Luck are able to make near-impossible shots. Health is the character’s overall health pool. Characters with a lot of Speed can cover more tiles using 1 AP compared to a character that has less Speed. Bullseye Chance increases the likelihood of making a critical shot. (Represented by the yellow bar when aiming at an enemy.) There’s a separate value called a Bullseye Multiplier which can be increased through a combination of traits and trinkets.

The 9 card offers the lowest value while Aces offer the best.

  • Diamonds – Luck
  • Clubs – Speed
  • Hearts – Health
  • Spades – Bullseye Chance
