Even in the second season of Call of Duty: Warzone, the MP40 remains one of the best SMGs. It’s essential to equip the best MP40 loadout with the best possible attachments if you want it to standout when you use this weapon in the game.

As Warzone Season 3 arrives, expect a lot of new content, including Operation Monarch, significant balancing improvements, and, of course, new weaponry. 

A good deal of maneuverability is provided by the MP40, which is useful in Warzone while trying to relocate and flank opponents. For maximum performance, though, you’ll need to run a meta loadout, and we’ve got your back.

In Rebirth Resurgence or battle royale, the MP40 can compete head-to-head with any other SMG, making it a worthwhile addition to your Overkill arsenal. For encounters that extend beyond the CQC’s range, you’ll need to use it in conjunction with a long-range AR or sniper rifle.

Using the Recoil Booster, the fire rate of this Warzone MP40 loadout is increased while the TTK of the weapon is decreased. To increase both range and accuracy, use the Krausnick 317mm 04B barrel and M1941 Hand Stop.

For even more mobility and less recoil, use the Krausnick 33M Folding and Polymer Grip after that. When used in conjunction with the Slate Reflector optic, this set-up makes it possible to lock onto a target and hit it on the first try.

Hollow Point ammo delivers additional limb damage, and the 7.62 Gorenko 45 Round Mags will ensure that you have plenty of firepower to kill several enemies.

Our final piece of advice is to use the Perks Steady and Quick to help you move more quickly between combats when using down sights. By doing so, you’ll be able to avoid being observed by snipers and simply flank your opponents.

In close combat, grenade explosions are a concern, thus it’s a good idea to wear the E.O.D for added protection. You can use Overkill to switch between the MP40 and a long-range weapon depending on the situation. The speed at which you can change to another fully-loaded weapon or replenish your primary weapon is accelerated when you’re Amped.

Semtex can be used to push enemies out of cover, while a Stim can offer you an instant health boost in the heat of battle.

MP40 Alternatives in Warzone

Welgun and OTs-9 are excellent alternatives to the Warzone MP40 if you’re seeking for a more cost-effective option. When used at close range, these wicked weapons are utterly lethal, making them ideal for players that want to engage in aggressive gunfights rather than remain in a specific spot.

MP40 Warzone Loadout Secondary Weapon

Since the MP40 can function as a superb support weapon for snipers, we recommend pairing it with your favorite sniper like Kar98k as a starting point. You may also use it in conjunction with a long-range assault rifle, such as the NZ-41, which is an excellent choice.

How to Unlock the MP40 in Warzone

In Warzone and Vanguard, obtaining the MP40 is as simple as reaching Rank 16 during the Pacific season.

As a result of the game’s popularity, a large number of players will have their character’s attachments enabled. In the event that this is not the case, you may want to try utilizing a double weapon XP token or participating in the next Double XP event.
