Destiny 2 Divinity Exotic Quest Guide (2023)

Divinity is an Exotic Trace Rifle that many players are looking to get their hands on in Destiny 2. However the quest to get Divinity isn’t all that straight forward and you could wind up missing out on such an awesome weapon which can take out even the toughest PVE bosses with ease. Use this guide to learn how to get the Divinity in Destiny 2.

How to Get the Divinity Quest in Destiny 2?

To get the Divinity, you need to complete the Divine Fragmentation quest. This quest requires that you have the Shadowkeep Expansion. It’s also directly tied to the Garden of Salvation raid.

Once you have the Shadowkeep Expansion, you can get the Divine Fragmentation quest by going to the moon and heading to Sorrow’s Harbor. At the very south of Sorrow’s Harbor, there is a corridor with a Strike Icon directly below it. Head through that area, and you’ll reach the Lunar Battlegrounds.

The moment you load into the Lunar Battlegrounds, immediately turn to the left and keep running until you enter a cave. Reach the very end of this cave, and you’ll see a Vex Gate, which summons Vex. Defeat the three waves of enemies that go through the Vex Gate until Zateon, Redemptive Mind, comes through. Defeat this Minotaur, and he’ll drop a golden engram, which is a Vex Core that will start up the Divine Fragmentation quest.

After scanning the Vex Core on Nessus, here’s what you need to do next step-by-step:

    • Repair 120 Vex Core by killing Vex on the moon.
    • Buy the Empowered Decryption Core at the Lantern of Enchantment for 30 Phantasmal Fragments
    • Solve the 7 laser puzzles at the end of the Garden of Salvation raid
    • Beat the final boss of the Garden of Salvation raid

You need to first repair the Vex Core and buy the Empowered Decryption Core before you do the Garden of Salvation raid. The steps are pretty easy to follow until you need to solve all 7 laser puzzles to get Divinity. This involves positioning the other players in specific patterns. After the puzzles have all been solved, you simply need to beat the raid’s final boss to get the Divinity Trace Rifle Exotic.
