Gliding around the tall buildings is one great way to traverse the open world of Dying Light 2. The paraglider is an essential Nightrunner tool for those seeking to traverse the large buildings of The City. Here is where you get the paraglider.

How to Get the Paraglider in Dying Light 2

You can get the paraglider after finishing Let’s Waltz! main story mission. This is when you’ll finally enter the heart of The City and into Downtown. A character will give it to you shortly before you get the tutorial to use the glider.

You now have the ability to paraglide and reach far off areas in The City. Many gusts of wind emerge from underneath that you can quickly use to gain altitude. You might want to upgrade the paraglider Nightrunner tool as soon as possible. The glider can really close a large distance and help you get into some really hard to reach areas.

Upgrading the Paraglider in Dying Light 2

At first the paraglider can take some getting used to. It’s a bit difficult to control and consume quite a bit of stamina. However you can make it much easier to handle and improve its performance by upgrading it.

You can upgrade the paraglider by going to the Craftsmaster in any settlement. You’re going to need Military Tech and some Old World Money for each upgrade. The glider can be upgraded up to 4 times until it reaches max potential.

    • Military Tech x2
    • Old World Money x1000

Military Tech can be found in military airdrops which are usually found on rooftops of large buildings. Old World Money meanwhile can be collected by selling valuables, equipment you no longer need, and searching bodies.
