    Enshrouded: All Block Types

Blocks are structural materials in Enshrouded used for building most structures in the game. These blocks are often made up of one or more resources and they can be placed in a claimed section of a world to create structures for bases. Read ahead as we go through all of the Block types in Enshrouded and share some tips on how to build with them.

    Block Basics

Enshrouded: Blocks can be crafted from the Workbench

Blocks can be crafted from the Workbench by using their respective crafting resources. These blocks are made in batches of 100 (50 for some roof types) and can be considered as building material or “ammo” for the Construction Hammer.

Blocks to be used in construction have to be placed within the character’s inventory; blocks stored in magic chests will not appear as usable in the construction menu.

Upon accessing the Construction Hammer, you will be able to equip the block type that will be used, as well as the structure templates that will be followed. Blocks can be placed in the claimed land in 1M, 2M, or 4M templates, with each design or pattern requiring a number of blocks to be placed.

Structures within the base that are removed via the deconstruct mode while using the Construction Hammer will refund the amount of blocks used for it. On the other hand, placed structures that are destroyed with a pickaxe or explosive will not refund any resources.
