The Moogle Treasure Trove event is back once again in Final Fantasy XIV. During this event players doing particular duties will be rewarded with tomestones which they can exchange for gear, minions, and even mount summoners. Some of the rewards available from this exchange are quite challenging to get outside the event, so avid players are eager to participate in this event just to get their hands on these goodies.
In this guide, we’ll take a look at the Moogle Treasure Trove event, how it works, and what items are in store for players to get.
Final Fantasy XIV Moogle Treasure Trove Event Duration
The Moogle Treasure Trove runs from July 25, 2022 and will end once the maintenance for Patch 6.2 starts. There’s no definite date given for when the end time will be, but we reckon that this event will last for a couple of weeks to a month.
How the Moogle Treasure Trove works
During the Moogle Treasure Trove event, certain duties will reward players with Irregular Tomestones which work as this event’s currency. These duties can range from raids to even PvP matches, and each of them pay out set amounts of Irregular Tomestones upon clearing.
Players can then take these Irregular Tomestones to Itinerant Moogles that can be found in certain zones to exchange them for goods.
There are three places where Itinerant Moogles can be found at:
- Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks @ X:9.4 Y:11.6
- New Gridania @ X:12.4 Y:12.1
- Ul’dah, Steps of Naid @ X:9.6 Y:9.1
They will also be marked with a Moogle marker on the map for ease of finding.
Moogle Treasure Trove Objectives and Duties
Listed below are the duties and objectives that players can participate on to earn Irregular Tomestones, arranged from most amount rewarded to the least amount rewarded:
- 7 Irregular Tomestones per run
- The Orbonne Monastery (Lv.70 Raids)
- The Praetorium (Lv.50 Dungeons)
- 6 Irregular Tomestones per run
- The Ridorana Lighthouse (Lv.70 Raids)
- 5 Irregular Tomestones per run (PvP events only reward 5 tomestones for winners, 3 tomestones for losers)
- The Royal City of Rabanastre (Lv.70 Raids)
- Onsal Hakair (Danshig Naadam) (Lv.30 PvP)
- The Fields of Glory (Shatter) (Lv.30 PvP)
- Seal Rock (Seize) (Lv.30 PvP)
- The Borderland Ruins (Secure) (Lv.30 PvP)
- 4 Irregular Tomestones per run
- The Keeper of the Lake (Lv.50 Dungeons)
- The Lost City of Amdapor (Lv.50 Dungeons)
- Haukke Manor (Lv. 50 Dungeons)
- Castrum Meridianum (Lv.50 Dungeons)
- The Aurum Vale (Lv.47 Dungeons)
- 3 Irregular Tomestones per run
