The Shadow Bird Puzzle in Gotham Knights is one of the first unique objectives you’ll eventually encounter while solving case file 2.2 – The Rabbit Hole. This puzzle must be completed before you can reach the Court of Owls’ secret hideout. However, despite being one of the game’s early puzzles, this one may have a well-deserved reputation for putting new players to a halt.

How to Solve the Shadow Bird Puzzle? (Case File 2.2)
To solve this puzzle, you must activate the spotlight and adjust the ancient table’s sculptures, creating a shadow bird on the wall.
From your hero’s perspective, the shadow bird should be facing right, as depicted in the image below:
The Bird sculpture has 4 parts, and there’s a pattern on how many times you can rotate them, which are as follows:
- Talons – Press Once
- Beak – Press Twice
- Wing 1 (3rd Sculpture) – Press 3 times
- Wing 2 (4th Sculpture) – Press 3-4 times
Once finished, this will trigger a cutscene where the wall will split in half and reveal the path for the main story.
