How do you learn Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy?
You can get Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy by completing a quest called In the Shadow of the Relic, which you’ll learn from Sebastian Swallow (a student from the Slytherin house) as part of his Relationship Questline.
During the “In the Shadow of the Relic” quest, you’ll eventually have to follow Sebastian outside the Catacomb until reach a snowy area on the Feldcroft Region. From here, talk to Sebastian and choose the following dialogues to learn the Avada Kedavra killing curse:
- “Everyone should know about that curse”
- “Yes, please”
Following this, Sebastian will then teach you Avada Kedavra. Unlocking and using it has no negative consequences, including no changes to the main story or any penalties. So make sure to utilize it properly.
Can you get Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy early?
Unfortunately, you can’t start the “In the Shadow of the Relic” quest until your character reaches level 28. Also, you need to finish the quest “Lodgok’s Loyalty” and go forward in the main plot to the “Prepare for Your OWLS” chapter. Additionally, there are a lot of sidequests that you’ll have to finish first in Sebastian’s relationship questline, beginning with “In the Shadow of the Undercroft”.
With all that, it’s safe to say that there is no way to get a head start on learning Avada Kedavra in Hogwarts Legacy early.
