The loyalty of a machine can be a good companion which is why Guardromon in Digimon Survive is an enticing pick for your team. This mech-looking Digimon is a rare Machine type whose entire purpose is to guard and defend. Despite being machine in nature, you can still befriend Guardromon.

How to Get Guardromon in Digimon Survive?

To get Guardromon in Digimon Survive, you have to befriend them before they join your team. Once in a conversation with Guardromon, you have to fill up the bar above them by choosing the right answers to their questions or statements. The bar needs to be at least 50% by the time the conversation is over to have a chance of befriending Guardromon.

Each answer will fill up the bar differently. The higher the bar is filled up, the higher the chances Guardromon will agree to join you. The best response fills up the bar by two segments. To get the highest chance for Guardromon in Digimon Survive to join you, always choose the best answer in response to their questions or statements.

How to Get Guardromon in Digimon Survive

Here are the questions/statements that Guardromon asks and the best response to them:

    Question/Statement

    Best Answer

Sometimes you should act on emotion instead of logic, don’t you think?

    Efficiency is key.

How do clouds in the sky look to you?

    I wanna ride one!

Is wanting quiet time to yourself such a crime?

    Yeah, shame on you!

If your friend was off causing trouble, how would you deal with it?

    With my fists!

What would you do if someone told you an idea you believed in was incorrect?

    Get Annoyed!

I’d like to avoid a pointless battle, if possible…

    And yet fight we must.

Sometimes you should act on emotion instead of logic, don’t you think?

    Efficiency is key.

Guardromon in Digimon Survive relies on their programming to judge behavior. Its primary purpose is to guard others without thinking of itself. As such, responses that are efficient but violent are the best way to respond. It doesn’t respond well to emotions with the exception of a few statements, so logical answers that disregard emotion are usually the best answer.

Where to Find Guardromon in Digimon Survive?

Guardromon can be found in different places but can only be encountered near the end of Part 4 in Digimon Survive. After the amusement park is invaded by evil forces, you’ll be able to encounter Guardromon in the Free Battle arena. They also become a common encounter throughout different areas of the game.

It is fairly easy to encounter Guardromon compared to some of the other Digimon in the game. However you won’t be able to recruit him until Part 4 of Digimon Survive so it’ll take some time.
