How to Get Gotsumon in Digimon Survive?
To get Gotsumon in Digimon Survive, you need to befriend them by picking the right options during a conversation with them. Picking the right responses will give points which will lead to the option to recruit Gotsumon for your team.
In Digimon Survive, starting a chat with Gotsumon will prompt a series of choices, and you can boost your chances of obtaining Gotsumon by two points by choosing the best possible response from a set of four.

Similar to Biyomon and Betamon, Gotsumon includes seven possible statements or questions that players will need to answer to, with three of these occurring at random during each conversation.
Gotsumon may look feeblish and easy to trick but he is considered to be favorable towards those with a mischievous side. Using talk and picking the right choices, players should consider this while responding to its questions and statements if they hope to become their friends. Once the gauge is set to full, ask him to be part of your roster and instantly Gotsumon is now part of your group.
Where to Find Gotsumon in Digimon Survive?
At the start of Chapter 2, Gotsumon will be seen as one of the wild Digimons that will appear in the Free Bat area in the game. In addition to Gotsumon, players can befriend with Biyomon, Betamon, and Gazimon there, for a total of four possible Digimon.
You may have to look around a little bit before you encounter a Gotsumon though. Your only choices when confronted by an unwanted Digimon are to either flee, finish the fight and defeat it, or be defeated.
