Andromon in Digimon Survive is an Android type Digimon that is almost completely cybernetic except for a few parts. It is said that this Digimon is a prototype that possesses no emotion and is completely faithful to its programming. This guide will teach you how to get Andromon in Digimon Survive.

How to Get Andromon in Digimon Survive?

There are two ways to get Andromon for your team in Digimon Survive. The first way to get Andromon is by befriending it in an encounter in free battles or shadow encounters. The second way to get Andromon is to evolve Gotsumon past their Champion stages and into their Ultimate forms.

If you plan to recruit Andromon through free battles, this will be possible if you’re at least Part 6 of Digimon Survive. This is the middle point of the game where Digimon you encounter are going to become a lot stronger. It is possible to get Andromon earlier if you’re willing to evolve a certain Digimon to do so.

You can evolve Gotsumon into Andromon if you spend two Mature Enlightenment Slabs to get them into their Ultimate forms. However before you reach Part 6 of Digimon Survive, these are rather rare so we suggest you save them. Instead you can encounter Guardromon in Part 4 who you can evolve into Andromon directly. It is possible to just recruit Andromon directly. If you’re already at a certain point in Digimon Survive, you won’t have to resort to using your Mature Enlightenment Slabs to evolve either Gotsumon or Guardromon to get Andromon.

How to Recruit Andromon in Digimon Survive?

You have to befriend Andromon to recruit them for your team in Digimon Survive. Once you reach Part 6 of the game, you can encounter Andromon in either free battles or shadow encounters. You can opt to Talk with Andromon where you must choose the right answers to have the best chance in recruiting Andromon.

In a conversation with Andromon, you’ll see a meter above their heads. This meter will tell you how much Andromon likes you. It must be filled by at least 50% at the end of the conversation with the Digimon to have a chance at recruiting them.

Each answer you give Andromon will fill up the meter differently. The more the meter is filled, the better the chances you’ll befriend Andromon and have this Digimon agree to join your team. To get the highest chance for Andromon in Digimon Survive to join you, always choose the best answer in response to their questions or statements.

Andromon can’t actually talk and you have to respond to it using body language. It is a Vaccine and Data type Digimon so you’ll have a higher affinity with Andromon if you choose either the Moral or Harmony route. You can read our Digimon Survive Karma System Explained guide for more info.

When talking to Andromon, you’ll want to respond with caution yet still having some compassion. Weirdly enough, despite being an Android type you can still give it food as one response. Refer to the table above for the best responses to Andromon when talking to it.
