How to make Teriyaki Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Here’s the recipe to make the Teriyaki Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

• Salmon: Can be found by fishing in either Frosted Heights or Sunset Plateau.
• Sugarcane: Can be bought from Goofy’s store in Dazzle Beach.
• Rice: Can be bought from Goofy’s store in Glade of Trust.
• Soya: Can be bought from Goofy’s store in Sunlit Plateau.
• Ginger: Can be foraged from the Forgotten Lands.

What makes Teriyaki Salmon a difficult dish to make in Disney Dreamlight Valley is how much investment you already have to make to get access to the ingredients. Either Frosted Heights or Sunset Plateau already have to be unlocked and those can cost a lot of Dreamlight shards. Frosted Heights can’t be unlocked until you have Forest of Valor, so the soonest you can unlock is the Sunset Plateau for 7,000 Dreamlight shards which is just next to the Plaza.

Alternatively you can upgrade Moana’s Fishing Boat in Dazzle Beach to get Salmon. You’ll have to fix Moana’s boat first before you can do this. Our How to Fix Moana’s Boat in Disney Dreamlight Valley guide will show you how.

You’ll also need access to the Glade of Trust where you can buy Rice or Rice Seeds from Goofy’s store. You’ll first have to repair his shop first which can cost you thousands of Star Coins. Rice can be expensive for an ingredient, but you can choose to purchase Rice Seeds to grow it yourself. Rice Seeds will take about 50 minutes to grow and you have to water them twice.

To get Ginger, you’ll need access to the Forgotten Lands which can’t do until you get access to Sunset Plateau. And even then, you’ll have upgrade your equipment by completing a quest from Scar to remove the bones from the bridge blocking the way. After that, you can forage for Ginger on the ground at Forgotten Lands.

Soya can be bought from Goofy’s shop in Sunset Plateau. You may have to wait until he’s offering it or upgrade the shop to its fullest. If you choose to buy the Soya Seeds, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to grow them which can take a while.

Once you have all the ingredients, you can cook them at any cooking pot in the valley. This will fulfill the requirements for the Teriyaki Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
