Jurassic World Evolution 2 Dominion Chaos Theory Story

Dominion Chaos Theory Gameplay

The gameplay in Chaos Theory is quite different than the previous campaigns or other scenarios. Not only will you have to worry about dinosaurs managing to break free from their enclosures, you will also have to fend off from rustlers who are out to poach the dinosaurs for their own gain.

Rustlers

Rustlers are poachers who will come after the dinosaurs within the ranch. They come in their own vehicles and can destroy fences so that they can get in. They will then hunt down a dinosaur by tranqing and calling in a chopper to pick them up.

If the rustlers are not dealt with in time, they will manage to steal dinosaurs away from the ranch. There are just two types of rustlers; ones that easily get scared once they see a ranger approaching, and ones that will have to be rammed in order to surrender. Whenever rustlers attack, you will see a notification which also shows how many dinosaurs they are planning to get during their raid.

Anti-rustler Research

Aside from the usual research that you have to do to improve your facilities and be able to breed more dinosaurs, you will also have access to anti-rustler research project that will help you defend the ranch from rustlers.

Once researched, some of the rewards can be deployed in or around the ranch to serve as a deterrent or an early-warning system which will be helpful since rustler raids get more challenging as the ranch grows.

Chaos Theory Progression

As the story progresses and the ranch expands, eventually the DFW will run out of funds to support the operation of the ranch. As part of the final leg, the ranch will have to be converted into a park and be opened for visitors. This means, provisions and facilities will have to be placed in order to make the ranch safe for the visitors.

Once you reach the required number of 50 dinosaurs in the park and you have also reached a park rating of 5, you will then complete the Chaos Theory mission. You have the option to continue playing and improving the park afterwards, if you wish.

Rustlers will regularly raid the ranch to steal some dinos.
