In Chapter 4 of Life is Strange True Colors, Alex will meet a man who is desperate to win the $100 gift card prize. But in order to get that prize, he needs to accurately guess the number of jelly beans in the jar. This is where Alex can step in to help him solve it. Wanna know how many jelly beans there are in that jar?
Life is Strange How Many Jelly Beans Guide
The correct number of jelly beans is 731 but Alex will have to use her supernatural powers to deduce the correct amount. She can’t just mention the answer from the start. Guessing correctly will also unlock the “Exactly 731” achievement.
Speak with the Man
Speak with the man in front of the jelly bean guessing game and read his thoughts. He will then ask Alex to guess how many jelly beans she thinks there are in the jar. You have the option to pick either “300” or “800.”
Pick 800 and Alex will notify you that she feels that something changed from the lady who runs the jelly bean guessing game.
Read the Woman from the Counter’s Mind
Read her mind and you’ll find out that you nearly got the number right. You’ll have to speak with the man again and pick “700” as your guess.
Read the Woman’s Mind Again
After picking the option, read the woman’s mind again and she’ll reveal the correct number which is 731. Talk to the man one last time and tell him the correct amount so he can win the $100 gift card.
Where is the Jelly Bean Game?
You can find the jelly bean guessing game just at the start of Chapter 4. It’s past the cart of roses that’s difficult to miss. There’s a man in front of the counter. Alex can read his thoughts to learn what he wishes to use that gift card for.
Depending on whether or not you helped him find his dog in Chapter 2, he’ll either be thinking of buying his mom dinner or buying his dog some treats.
