    NBA 2K23 MyCAREER (Explained)

Players can look forward to NBA 2K23 MyCAREER, a returning feature from the previous NBA 2K Games where players can create their own player and built up their careers from there. If you’ve always wanted to immerse yourself and build up your own career as a professional basketball player, you can create an avatar to experience what it feels like to be in the shoes of a basketball athlete. This guide will explain the NBA 2K23 MyCAREER and what it has to offer.

    What Is NBA 2K23 MyCAREER?

NBA 2K23 MyCAREER is a game mode that allows you to create your own player. This is essentially the game’s campaign mode. In it, you can experience a story of the avatar you created through MyPLAYER embarking on a journey to become a professional basketball player.

If you’ve played NBA 2K games before 2K23, then you’re already familiar with this one. Except this time around, there have been changes to the MyCAREER game mode. No longer can you start up from high school or go to college. Instead, MyCAREER cuts straight to the point with you being drafted to the team of your choice.

Of course this causes an uproar within the basketball community. With you already being at your professional career, many are distrustful of your ability to play. You’ll have to prove yourself time and again by winning games in order to prove yourself.

    What Is NBA 2K23 MyCAREER?

This time around there is an emphasis on being an underdog. You’re rivals with another NPC called Shep Owens, who everybody and their mothers wanted to recruit into NBA instead of you. Everywhere you go, people are convinced that you’re the wrong choice. And you have to prove to them that you’re not some third rate pick.

It’ll be hard though as people are consistently fixated on Shep. You’ll have to fight for everything you earn in MyCAREER.

NBA 2K23 MyCAREER General and Trailblazer

Throughout key points in your NBA 2K23 MyCAREER, you’ll get some story options that shape your character. These choices can either be General or Trailblazer. The former being establishing a foundation and the latter keeping things simple. These will also give you bonuses in performances for your games.

Players who prefer defensive playstyles will most likely choose General as it gives them better boost to further assist teammates. In contrast those who seek to be aggressive will lean towards Trailblazer as it gives them a boost towards scoring points.

    The City In MyCAREER

    The City In MyCAREER

You MyCAREER is connected to the City, an open hub you can explore around and do a variety of activities. You’ll be given the chance to buy clothes, get tattoos, and upgrade stats for your avatar. It functions largely similar to the previous NBA 2K game where you can go around and meet NPCs to progress the main story.

There’s plenty to do in the City and you’ll be spending a lot of time wandering around its streets. It’s humbly large with underground train stations acting as fast travel points.

That’s our explanation for the NBA 2K23 MyCAREER. We hope you found this article to be informative. We have more NBA 2K23 content to check out.
