Nintendo has recently announced the new Nintendo Switch – OLED Model: Mario Red Edition.
Yesterday, the reliable industry insider billbil-kun leaked this, revealing the same information announced today during the August Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Direct. It pays homage to the next big Switch game, but does not actually include the Super Mario Bros. Wonder in the box. Why?
It turns out that the console launches ahead of the actual game. The limited edition OLED Switch launches on October 6, 2023 while the Super Mario Bros. Wonder releases on October 20, 2023.
Just like the leak, the Switch console is very, very red in color. The dock is red, the joycons are red, most of the Switch console is red, so on and so forth. There are some interesting parts of the dock though like the back part has a detail of a small Mario on the bottom left side of it and inside the dock where owners can plug in HDMI cables, power cable, and so forth, the surface has Mario coins on them.
