The latest installment in the franchise, Need for Speed Unbound, has officially launched, and it has an infinite number of playable cars that can be modified in countless ways. What is the Palace Edition?
The Need For Speed Palace Edition is one of the 2 editions that players can purchase digitally and it contains a new set of exclusive cars designed by Palace Skateboards, a London-based skateboarding and clothing brand that has been popular since 2009. This edition also has digital artwork of how the game came to be, 20 clothing items, customized decals and license plates, and driving effects that will open the eyes of gamers.
All Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition Cars
Players who have purchased the Palace Edition will be getting the following cars designed by Palace Skateboards:
- Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series 2020
- Volkswagen Golf GTI 1976
- BMW M3 Evolution II E30 1988
- Mercedes-AMG G 63 2017
How to Unlock Palace Edition Cars in Need for Speed Unbound?
These cars, even though are exclusive in the Palace Edition, aren’t free. To unlock these cars, players must purchase them using in-game money earned from winning races and completing side quests found. Afterward, select the Safe House or Garage and choose Rides where players can click on the Buy and Sell as the Palace Edition cars will be available for purchase.
Based on how players gave progress in the story campaign, the Palace Edtion cars will be available for purchase. Below are the steps for unlocking each of these exclusive cars found in the game:
Mercedes-AMG G 63 2017
- can be unlocked after completing the prologue and reaching Week 1 and costs $110,000
Volkswagen Golf GTI 1976
- can be unlocked by reaching Week 2 of the story campaign and costs $30,000
BMW M3 Evolution II E30 1988
- can be unlocked by reaching Week 3 of the story campaign and costs $60,000
Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series 2020
- can be unlocked by reaching Week 4 of the story campaign and costs $275,000.
Additionally, players can also unlock these cars from the get-go in multiplayer mode, and can be purchased as well at the dealership for these prices:
- Mercedes-AMG G 63 2017 – $110,000
