Quin69 Diablo Immortal Player Spent a Lot
Quin69, a popular livestreamer from Wanganui, New Zealand, recently set up a spend counter in order to make his content more attractive. It tracked the amount of money he spent on the PC version of Diablo Immortal.
The Point of No Return
This particular streamer declared that he would not stop spending $25 on Elder Rift entrée fees until he would get a 5-Star Legendary gem. Note that a 5-Star Legendary gem is really hard to get as it is a very rare drop. You could already imagine what happened next.
Despair
As time passed by, not a single 5-Star Legendary gem dropped on his runs. Just like clockwork, he would not stop spending money to get the fee for Elder Rifts. Do this on repeat for several times and then the unthinkable happened.
Count Your Losses
When he hit $10,000 NZD, Quin69 lost his mind and ranted on top of his lungs. He even jumped around like crazy. Understandable as he had spent a lot of money already and still his desired item has not dropped even once.
“That’s right, b**ch, I spent $10,000 and got nothing! This is a great game!” he exclaimed. He also seemed quite tired at this point.
“Blizzard should be proud. Who needs $10,000 anyway? What would I buy, a car? Pay my child’s entire schooling through 18? Have my money Blizzard, take my money!” he sarcastically said and ended his rant.
Lessons Learned
What a way to end his outburst. And what a way to waste a lot of money. Quin69 is a good example of how you should not waste a lot of money on pay to win games just to get what you want. It ended in bad luck.
