The Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC is something we’re all looking forward to. With the perspective of playing as Ada Wong, we can see the other side of the journey that we weren’t able to see as Leon. If you’re curious about when the Separate Ways DLC is coming out, here’s everything that we know so far.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC Leaks and Rumors
Data miners have been hard at work looking for any new information on the Resident Evil 4 Remake DLCs while paying special attention to anything related to the Separate Ways expansion. A post from Resident Evil Central on Twitter seems to confirm Separate Ways as “Another Order” according to dataminers.
On the game’s backend files, you can see a folder called Another Order, which dataminers suspect is the file for the Separate Ways DLC. Capcom has not yet made any announcements that the expansion is coming our way soon. We do know that The Mercenaries is coming on April 7th and that Ada may be one of the playable characters.
So what was Separate Ways about? It was a DLC that centered around Ada Wong and showed her side of the story, which sometimes intersected with Leon’s and Luis, whom she both occasionally helped out. It was five chapters long and only a little over three hours. We aren’t sure what they’ll add to this DLC or if it’ll be any longer this time around, but we are confident that it’s coming.
In the Resident Evil 4 Remake main campaign, Capcom teases the DLC by having Leon mention to Ada in one cutscene that they should go about their “separate ways.” Perhaps we think that the phrasing is a bit too convenient for it to just be a coincidence.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC Release Date Leaks
There are no Separate Ways DLC release date leaks from any dataminers at the time of this writing. Capcom is keeping the Separate Ways release date a closely guarded secret.
We predict that the Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC won’t be given a release date until sometime after the release of Mercenaries. Though we’ll have to wait and see, it most likely won’t take too long before Capcom reveals their plans for the future of the remake. The only thing confirmed for the Resident Evil 4 remake besides Mercenaries is the PSVR’s optional VR Mode.
It’s important to note that while The Mercenaries and VR Mode will be free DLC, it may be possible for the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Separate Ways DLC to be paid for. It would make sense to offer the Separate Ways DLC as paid content since Capcom doesn’t really have any incentive to release it for free. Either way, we’ll see soon enough what they have in store for us regarding Ada’s campaign.
That’s everything we could get about the Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways DLC Date Leaks and Rumors. We hope this article gives you more to look forward to.
