Cordona can be a very big place in Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One. And as it so happens that it is also filled with treasures scattered across its different regions. On this guide, we’ll teach you where to find all treasure locations for Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One. Collecting all of them nets you the Gold Digger achievement.
One of the Cordona Stories that asks you to locate all treasures in Cordona is called Treasure Island. And you have to trigger the quest before you start looking. There are a 3 stages to this side quest and a total of 24 treasure locations you can find across Cordona.
These treasures are permanently missable. After a certain point near the end of the story, you’ll be locked out of free roam for good. So you should find them before beginning Point of No Return.
How To Begin Treasure Hunt Event
To trigger the Treasure Hunt event in Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, any time after the prologue of the game when Cordona opens up its open world to you, go to the Cordona City Hall in the Scaladio district. There on the square you’ll hear a man announcing a challenge to find all the treasures in the island to everyone passing by. Interact with him. This will officially begin the quest.
- Go to Cordona City Hall
- Interact with the street crier
You should take note of this location as you’ll be going back to it after finding the first set of eight.
Each part of the quest has you coming back to the Cordona City Hall to speak with this crier after finding a set. The other set of eight treasures won’t spawn on the map until you do. So there’s no grabbing them all at once.
These treasures all come with photos you can view from you Casebook. Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with Cordona, here are all their locations.
Stage 1 – Treasure Island
Here are all the treasure locations of Stage 1. Some of the treasure found in Stage 1 will reward you with 10 credits.
Carriage in a Yard Treasure Location
This treasure is located in Harbour Ave in the northeast section Scaladio District. It isn’t far off from the City Hall.
The treasure is right on the seat of the parked carriage on the side of the Harbour Master Building.
Long Bridge Treasure Location
This treasure is located under the Old City Bridge just between the Scaladio and Old City districts.
Don’t bother taking the high road and crossing the bridge itself. From the Scaladio District’s Harbour Ave street there’s a passage way towards under the bridge. The treasure will be just before you reach the camp underneath the bridge. It’ll be sitting comfortably on rocks a few meters next to a large tree.
Lion Monuments Treasure Location
This treasure is located southeast of Scaladio. Just before crossing the Maltese Bridge using the Bazaar Rd head right to where you’ll see cannons and a navy sailors being yelled at with another polishing his rifle.
The treasure is located behind the lion statue to the left.
Short Bridge Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the middle of Vernet St in the border between Scaladio and Grand Saray districts. There’s a park in the streets and you can fast travel using the Legacy Theatre should you have discovered it.
The treasure is underneath a small bridge to the west of the park.
Bench on a Pier Treasure Location
This treasure is located south of the Grand Saray district just below the Bonanza Rd next to the Salacia Yacht Club. It’ll be right below the Grand Saray Traders Alley landmark.
Go towards the south where you’ll find the treasure underneath the benches.
Snug Gazebo Treasure Location
This treasure is located near Sherlock’s manor in the Grand Saray district. It’ll be directly northeast from Stonewood Manor and above Leblanc Rd.
The treasure is inside the small fountain and can be difficulty to notice until you come close.
Sandy Shore Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the northern section of the Old City district. It is above Castle Rd at the upper corner of the map. You can fast travel there through the Observation Point if you found it.
The treasure is cleverly hidden behind the rocks near the destroyed boat. Head down and start looking towards the left.
High Tower Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the center of the Old City District directly where the Hava Watchtower fast travel should be. It is between Olive St and Narrow St.
Head up a flight of stairs and find a workbench to the side, the treasure should be there.
Stage 2 – Treasure Island
Once you’ve found all the treasures in Stage 1 of Treasure Island then you’ve unlocked the second stage. Here are all the treasure locations for stage 2. Some of the treasure found in Stage 2 will reward you with 15 credits.
Rocky Shore Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the Greek Bridge northwest of Stonewood Manor. It is the intersection between Grand Saray and Miner’s End districts.
Start from the Grand Saray heading into Miner’s End. Don’t actually cross the Greek Bridge. Before you even reach the bridge, you should see a pathway right of Silent Way which will lead under the bridge. You’ll find the treasure there but be sure you don’t fall into the water.
Secret Sea View Treasure Location
This treasure is located southeast of the Grand Saray in the Promenade Square landmark. You can find it between the intersection of Bonanza Rd and Gallifrey St.
The treasure will be behind the stone arch where you can find a good view of the sea.
Closed Mine Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the northern west end of Miner’s End district. In the Wiggins St you’ll find the Silver Mines Monument and Silver Hephaestus.
The treasure is located where the closed mine is. Just before you reach the door look right. It is behind an old derelict shed.
Big Depot Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the Silverton district. It is right beside the Blacksmith Rd next to the Finch and Co. Cannery landmark.
The treasure can be difficult to spot. It is located between some pipes next to the train tracks.
Tower Near Bridge Treasure Location
This treasure is located at the northwest of the Old City south of the Old City Bridge. It’ll be left from Hermes Ave and north from Dawn Rd.
From the Old City Bridge, there should be a pathway to the south with stairs going above the walls. The treasure is located above the second right staircase on the barrels where you’ll get a gorgeous view of the Scaladio district.
Little Park Treasure Location
This treasure is located in Scaladio above the Queen St next to the Legacy Theatre.
The treasure will be at the upper right of a small green park above Queen St which you’ll get towards the right end of the road before hitting Glass St.
Crumbling Column Treasure Location
This treasure is located in western Scaladio on the Bonaparte St near Caesar’s Bridge.
The treasure is located neatly to the left pathway of the Trattoria bar above the flight of stairs.
Tower Stairs Treasure Location
This treasure is located north of the Scaladio district in the Thor Bridge right in the Baskerville St.
As you are crossing the Thor Bridge you’ll enter an old building. Keep attention to your left and you’ll see a flight of stairs leading down. Go down the stairs and the treasure is there.
Stage 3 – Treasure Island
This is the final stage of Treasure Island. Once you turn in the treasures you found in last stage the treasures for Stage 3 will spawn. Some of the treasure found in Stage 3 will give you 23 credits.
Near the Crane Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the northern section of the Old City district on the Ram St.
The treasure is near Pearl Ln and is located a few meters south of the intersection between Ram St and Pearl Ln. You’ll find it underneath a red street light next to some chickens.
Rocky Mountain Treasure Location
This treasure is located west of the Grand Saray district just near the Stonewood Manor and towards the right of Silent Way.
While walking from Silent Way, you’ll notice that there’s a pathway going up towards the east of your compass. You can find the treasure in the gazebo overlook Theodore Gilden’s home which is the manor southwest from Sherlock’s.
Tree on a Bridge Location
This treasure is located on the southeast of the Grand Saray district. This treasure is particularly hard to find because while it is technically in the Bonanza Rd the only way to get it is through the Gallifrey St.
When walking along the Bonanza Rd near the Promenade Square you’ll notice an overpass up above with no stairs to go on top of it. This is because the entrance to that overpass is actually above the stairs you can locate in Promenade Square towards the Gallifrey St.
Old Bridge Treasure Location
This treasure is located in between the borders of Miner’s End and Silverton and right on the Stephenson’s Bridge.
From Silverton going to Miner’s End, you’ll see the treasure sitting on the left pillar of the bridge near the end of Stephenson’s Bridge.
Under the Pipes Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the Silverton district on the intersection of Arsenal and Gloucester St which is northeast of the Rolling Bricks Bridge near the Garden of Delights.
The treasure is located at the side of the street. It is near a rope, a blacksmith’s apron, and a newspaper.
Aqueduct Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the Miner’s End district. It can be found on the Emperor’s Aqueduct below Jade St.
The treasure is located underneath a broken arch just before you enter the cemetery.
Segmented House Treasure Location
This treasure is located in the Old City district. You can find it between the intersection of Bakery St and Sesame St.
The treasure will be found next to some barrels at the intersection.
Hidden Market in a Yard Treasure Location
This treasure can be found in the Scaladio district right above Reed St.
You’ll find this treasure underneath the stairs in the poorer parts of the district. Just head north from the alleyway between Reed St and Arsenal St.
Rewards for the Treasure Island Hunt Event
Once you’ve found all treasure locations in Treasure Island and turned them in to the street crier at Cordona City Hall you’ll unlock the Gold Digger achievement. Treasures found will also net you some pretty good spending money along with a pirate outfit for Sherlock and John.
