Everything Burns is the second mission of The Flame side story in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Yuri gets a lead on one of the cult’s shelters and asks for Peter’s help to raid it.

The Everything Burns Mission will be unlocked after completing the Where Have You Been? mission of The Flame side story and after progressing and completing the Science Buddy main story mission. All missions under The Flame side story are exclusive only for Peter Parker.

After catching up with Yuri on the first leg of the mission and progressing further into the game, you will get an update on the objective for the side story. This objective will lead you to Chinatown where it appears that one of The Flame’s cultist hideouts is situated.

Follow The Flame marker to a rooftop where you can see a door marked with the cult’s symbol. A cutscene will play where Wraith will meet up with you. Afterwards, both of you will start to infiltrate the hideout.

Take down the cultists

In your first encounter with the cultists, you will learn how to do a Double Takedown with a companion against multiple enemies. Wait for the enemies’ markers to turn green, then you’ll know that they’ll be safe to take them both down simultaneously.

Find a way into the shelter area

Check inside the next room where you will find a picture of the deserter from earlier. Then, look up the wall to find a vent that you can crawl into to reach the next room.

There are multiple hostiles in this room that you can take down stealthily, or go fight directly. You will have Wraith to help you clear all of them out, so pick a method that goes best for your gameplay.

Search for clues to open the door

After clearing out the enemies, approach the green door to find out that it’s locked. Scan the wall that has the ranks of the cultists, and Wraith will figure out that you will need to use the cultists’ tattoos and scan them by the door to open them. Check the cultists’ hands to find the matching tattoo that Wraith needs and bring the right one to the door.

Move deeper into the building

After the cutscene, take down the next guards and then check on the imprisoned deserter to know how to set the prisoners free.

Clear out the cultists

Move to the next room where you’ll find more cultists; clear them out stealthily or engage with them through combat.

Free the prisoners

Once it’s clear, scan the room to find the door controls by the stage. Press the button on the controls to the set the prisoners free.

As you make your way out, The Flame will appear via a projection and talk to Yuri.

Take down the cultists

More tougher cultists will arrive in the room. Be aware of the brute that has the ability to send out waves of flames through his fists.

Fight your way out of the building

All of the cultists have now been alerted, so make your way through the rooms and clear all of the enemies that stand in your way.

After clearing all of the enemies, Yuri will then head out immediately to the hospital where The Flame told her to go. You will also be rewarded with 1,200 XP, 4 Hero Tokens, and 250 Tech Parts.
