The original Ultraman comes alive through a new collection

The Ultraman series, one of Japan’s famous Toku heroes, has made headlines throughout the year with new anniversary events, new animes and series including toylines that sparkle the eyes of many collectors such as myself. Recently, BANDAI released a promotional trailer of their next S.H.FIGUARTS Shinkocchou Seihou version featuring ULTRAMAN.

By scanning the body and wrists of Mr. Bin Furuya, the suit actor of Ultraman at that time, BANDAI realized a three-dimensional shape that is closer to the suit balance of that time. Under the thorough supervision of Tsuburaya Productions modeling department LSS, commercialized by SHFiguarts true bone carving method.

“Ultraman” was commercialized for the first time at SHFiguarts in July 2016, and since its release, the SHFiguarts series has finally reached its 100th body with the support of fans all over the world. As the 100th commercialization of the memorable body, “Ultraman” became a true bone carving method, and all reappeared with new modeling.

When is the S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Shinkocchou Seihou version Release Date?

S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Shinkocchou Seihou version will be released this July 2022. Ultraman fans and collectors can pre-order through their local shops or online.

What is Ultraman?

Ultraman, which was broadcast from July 17, 1966 to April 1967, had a maximum audience rating of 42.8% and caused a social phenomenon called the monster boom. Since then, the works of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa have continued as the Ultra series. Even now, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary, new works are being announced not only on TV but also on movies, web distribution and various media.

What is S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchu Seihou?

For Kamen Rider Hibiki series Riders and Kiva, along with the renewal versions of several figures, they would appear in a spin-off line called “Shinkocchou Seihou” with details that are slightly more accurate with their in-show suits and better articulation.

Renewal versions of Ryuki, Faiz, and Blade are also planned to be released, but with no confirmation regarding the release date. Several characters from the Garo ProjectIcon series have also been released in this line.

To commemorate the anniversaries of the Ultra Series, Bandai would release a Shinkocchou Seihou figure of Ultraman Tiga in July 2021, the first Ultraman to be released in this line.
