Square Enix has now announced Valkyrie Profile Lenneth delayed later to the end of this year.
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth Delayed
The popular classic PS1 game which got remastered on the PSP was going to be part of the Deluxe Edition of the upcoming video game Valkyrie Elysium. It could also be purchased separately, but it was supposed to be one of the reasons to pre-order the Deluxe Edition. Unfortunately, it seems there has been a hiccup in development and Square Enix had to change the launch.
“As we celebrate the upcoming launch of Valkyrie Elysium, we unfortunately need a bit more time for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth to improve the quality of the title and have decided to move the release date to December 22nd, 2022,” reads a Twitter post from the official account of Valkyrie Elysium.
Pre-Orders Still Honored
While that might be bad news for consumers who have already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition, Square Enix assured everyone that they will still get it. Instead of having it on Valkyrie Elysium’s launch day, the other game will now be available on December 22, 2022. As long as the store has the records of the purchase of the Deluxe Edition, they will be notified that VP Lenneth will be available for download on that day.
Standard and Separate Purchase Plan
With this announcement, some fans have opted to buy the standard edition of the game and will just purchase VP Lenneth in December 2022.
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth for PS4 and PS5 will launch on December 22, 2022.
