So it is official. Spider-Man has officially swung his way into the Fortnite roster with his web-shooters. And now players can get the chance to acquire his web-shooters for themselves.
If you want to swing around in style on the new map in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, then you’re going to need these web-shooters. Here is how you get it.
How to Get the Spider-Man Mythic Web Shooters
To get Spider-Man’s mythic web-shooters we first need to find Spider-Man himself, however, this is not yet available until December 11, 2021, 10:00 AM EST / 7:00 AM PST.
But that’s not to say you can’t get the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters earlier than December 11, 2021. There are some players who got them early after finding an NPC who sells the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters for only 400 gold!
Here’s the step-by-step process on how to get the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters early:
- First, you need to gather 400 gold anywhere in the map.
- You need to head over to Greasy Grove and find an NPC named Guaco in a Mexican restaurant in the area.
- Interact with Guaco and exchange the 400 gold for the Spider-Man Mythic Web-Shooters.
Where to Find Spider-Man in Fortnite Chapter 3
On December 11, the only way to get any mythic weapons are through NPCs, so our Spidey friend here has been added to the new map. Don’t worry, you’re not going to be fighting him for it, unlike The Foundation.
Here’s where you can find Spider-Man in Fortnite:
Go to the Daily Bugle
The Daily Bugle is the latest addition to the Chapter 3 Season 1 map. You’ll find it on the tropical parts of the island to the east. It is just above the Coney Crossroads.
Locate and Find Spider-Man
You have to Spider-Man wandering around in the Daily Bugle. This superhero doesn’t really like sitting around so you’ll have to find him.
Once you do Spider-Man around the Daily Bungle, just interact with him. He’s nice enough to hand you his web-shooters at no charge at all.
Can the Web Shooters Be Used With Any Skin?
The Spider-Man mythic web-shooters aren’t bound with his Fortnite skin. This means that it can be used with any skin you want to have. Feel free to go around web-swinging on the island as Rick Sanchez. Or any other character you feel like using really.
What Do The Web Shooters Do?
The mythic Spider-Man Web-Shooters aren’t purely weapons in Fortnite. Sorry, but no wrapping other players in webs like the real Spider-Man would do. Instead, they’re meant for traversal from one building to another.
There are a few ways to tactically use the Spider-Man mythic web-shooters. You can use them to scale buildings in an instant or escape from fights. You can even use them to pick up items from a good distance.
Be careful though, as you may still be subjected to fall damage. It is unknown what the web-shooters do when fired upon enemy players. But if they close in the distance, then shotguns would be the new meta in Chapter 3 Season 1 of Fortnite.
