    How to Beat Wild Edge Mini Boss Fight in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

    Wild Edge is the first mini boss that players will face against in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It can be fought at the end of the Downtown Grassland stage and it uses a sword and shield. It can also appear as a mini-boss in later stages following the same move and attack patterns.

    In this guide, we will look into Wild Edge’s moves and attacks, as well as share some tips and tricks on how to easily win the fight.

    To Beat Wild Edge Mini Boss in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, you have to win against Wild Edge’s fights which has two phases. It goes into its second phase once its HP goes down to <50%. Before the fight, you can pick between the Cutter or the Bomb copy abilities.

    How to beat Wild Edge Phase 1

    • Sword Slam – Wild Edge raises its sword up high and slams it to the ground. Simply move towards his side to avoid the sword.
    • Stationary Shield – Wild Edge brings out its shield and hides behind it for a few seconds. During this time, Wild Edge will not move, so you can go around him and do a couple of attacks on his open back.
    • Sword Dash – Wild Edge will run in a straight line leading with its sword. move to the side and away from its path.

    How to beat Wild Edge Phase 2

    Most of his attacks in phase 1 are upgraded during this phase.

    • Double Sword Slam – Upgraded Sword Slam where it slams its sword twice in succession.
    • Moving Shield – Upgraded Stationary Shield where it slowly marches forward while its shield is drawn. It can turn to your direction slowly and touching the shield does damage, so make sure you keep a safe distance from it.

    Beating Wild Edge Rewards in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

    Aside from releasing the imprisoned Waddle Dee, you can also absorb Wild Edge once it is knocked down to get the Sword copy ability as a reward in beating Wild Edge in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

    Wild Edge Mini Boss Fight Tip

    • Its sword attack and dash attack can drop stars that Kirby can inhale and shoot out at Wild Edge to deal a huge chunk of damage.
