E3 2023 Reportedly Happening as Hybrid Digital and Physical Event

It seems E3 2023 is happening and according to a new report, it will be a hybrid type of event.

After the big announcement yesterday that E3 2022 is fully cancelled for this year, the ESA is back with news that next year, E3 2023 is totally happening. This comes from Axios Journalist Stephen Totilo on his official Twitter account. He revealed that E3 2023 will be a hybrid event, which means it will be in physical and digital.

ESA has not formally posted a public statement to confirm this big news yet, but Totilo did show a statement they got from ESA. It was a screenshot of possibly an email that the organizer sent them just recently.

According to the statement, “E3 will return in 2023 with a reinvigorated showcase that celebrates new and exciting video games and industry innovations.”

Remember, E3 has now been cancelled twice due to the global pandemic and it has not yet been completely cured. It is possible that this is the reason for hindering them from finally doing the event, but we should wait and see.
