Prophecy Dungeon is currently one of the best places to farm for gear in Destiny 2. Not only does it have the neat Moonfang-X7 Prophecy Armor Set, it also has the weapons and armor sets that Guardians were only able to get through the Trials of Nine previously.

If you’re curious to know what you can expect to get before diving in the dungeon, read on as we list down all the loot that you can get in the Prophecy Dungeon.

What Armor Sets are part of the Prophecy Dungeon Loot in Destiny 2?

There are two available armor sets that can be received as part of the loot in the Prophecy Dungeon: the Moonfang-X7 Set and the Trials of the Nine Armor Set.

Moonfang-X7 Armor Set

  • Moonfang-X7 Chassis

Hidden Chests in Destiny 2 Prophecy Dungeon

There are two secret chests in the Prophecy Dungeon, and each has the opportunity to reward you with any Weapon or Armor item already collected from prior successful encounters.

Hidden Chest #1 – Wastelands

One of the secret chests is in the area known as the Wasteland. It is situated between the Braytech facility and the Lighthouse with the rectangular blocks. There is a small entrance, and if you go inside you’ll find a chest that contains loot from the Prophecy Dungeon.

Hidden Chest #2 – Rainbow Roads

It is in this region that you will be hopping on the sparrow, which will be right before your last boss battle on the rainbow road. You’ll see a diamond-shaped entryway while traveling down the main road. Head in and take a right, then you’ll come across a location that is moving underground. If you continue down the trail, you will eventually reach the second secret chest.

How to farm loot in the Prophecy Dungeon in Destiny 2

There are methods to get unlimited loot in Destiny 2’s Prophecy Dungeon, exploiting glitches. In contrast to every other raid or dungeons, you can return to Prophecy multiple times in the same week to farm for loot and experience points.

Here’s how you can go about farming the Prophecy dungeon:

  1. Take your first character through the dungeon until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
  2. Go through the dungeon and die without beating it.
  3. Change characters and log into a character who hasn’t been through the dungeon in the last seven days.
  4. Using that second character, rejoin your Fireteam once more.
  5. Go through the dungeon until you reach the checkpoint on where your first character died, then die again without completing the dungeon.

By repeating this process, you can farm that encounter indefinitely until the game is restarted. But in order to continue farming, you have to do the following:

  1. Using your second character, the one that is holding the checkpoint, begin exploring the dungeon.
  2. Change characters and return to your Fireteam on your first character after completing your mission.
  3. Complete the dungeon encounter in order to obtain the loot.
  4. Exit the dungeon, switch characters once more, and repeat the process.

It is unlikely that you will be able to locate anything new, but you will be able to obtain different rolls on the things you acquired during the first run. As long as you have a dedicated Fireteam and several hours to grind, this is a sure way to get successfully farm Legendary loot.
