The Revision Zero exotic pulse rifle is a recent addition to the Guardian’s arsenal as a “gift” from Clovis Bray. The weapon gathers targeting data with each successive critical hit and once a portion of the bar is full, turns into a sniper rifle that’s capable of stunning Barrier champions.

Revision Zero is the first evolving weapon introduced in Destiny 2. The weapon acquired better stats as the player progressed through the “Should You Choose to Accept It” quest line. By quest’s end, the weapon will have increased its stats 3 times over and it is reflected on the weapon’s ornaments.

How to get the Revision Zero Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2?

In Season 19, Revision Zero was acquired by progressing the “More Than Just a Weapon” seasonal storyline. The weapon was given to you by Clovis Bray as a small “gift” for your aid in keeping the HIve at bay on Europa. The weapon’s pattern can be extracted and multiple versions can be crafted to suit different situations.

Destiny 2 Revision Zero Weapon Stats

Revision Zero is an above-average dueling weapon that has a higher skill ceiling due to how infrequent the opportunities you get to use sniper mode in PvP. It’s either the round is going to end or you were defeated before getting a single sniper shot off. In PvE, the weapon has the potential for taking down tougher enemies but is overshadowed by other Exotics that excel in both boss DPS and crowd control.

The two numbers represent a comparison between the weapon’s stat from its first version to the fourth one. Only in the Hakke light burst fire mode. The stats also change when heavy burst fire mode is active.

  • Impact: 35
  • Range: (56 – 76)
  • Stability: (70 – 100)
  • Handling: 35
  • Reload Speed: (38 – 43)
  • Aim Assitance: (40 – 50)
  • Zoom: 18
  • Airborne Effectiveness: (15 – 25)
  • Rounds per Minute: 450
  • Magazine: (36 – 40)
  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling – Balanced barrel. Slightly increases range and stability. Slightly increases handling speed.
  • Magazine: Alloy Magazine – Faster reloads when the magazine is empty.
  • 3rd column traits: Moving Target – Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.
  • Origin trait:
    • Hakke Light Burst Fire – Fires a stable burst of four lightweight rounds.
    • Hakke Heavy Burst Fire – Fires a less stable burst of two high-damage, high-range rounds.
  • Stock: Composite Stock – This weapon has versatile dual-purpose stock. Slightly increases stability. Slightly increases handling speed.
  • Intrinsic Trait: Hunter’s Trance – This weapon fires special shield-piercing ammunition. Precision hits grant targeting data. Press Reload again to swap to the alternate scope, loading high-damage rounds based on the amount of targeting data. Strong against Barrier Champions.

Revision Zero God Roll

There are two distinct sets you can potentially make for PvP and PvE. There may be a small amount of overlap between the two but there’s no point in wasting crafting material switching between the two of them.

Hunters Trace 4 Destiny 2

To get the most out of the Revision Zero, you’ll need to unlock the weapon’s fourth and final Intrinsic trait, Hunter’s Trace IV. But even before then, you can start planning out your god rolls for PvP and PvE. Do note that you need the fourth Intrinsic Trait to unlock all the potential mod options for the weapon.

A Truly Versatile Weapon

The god rolls above may be some of the most optimal in terms of the task before you. But really, there are so many great options with this gun that you can alter it to fit your exact playstyle. That applies to both modes, by the way.

My advice is to use the god rolls above as a reference point and then keep experimenting until the weapon is comfortable in your hands. Best of luck in your search for the right Revision Zero, Guardian.
