Stargazer is one of the quests under the Season of Defiance in Destiny 2. In the search for a way to repair the broken memorials of the previous Cloud Striders, one solution requires the Guardians to learn more about these heroes with the help of the power of the Strand.
Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Stargazer quest in Destiny 2.
How to unlock the Stargazer Quest
To unlock the Stargazer quest, you must first complete the Lightfall campaign to gain access to the Hall of Heroes and speak to Quinn Laghari. Then, complete the introductory Welcome to the Hall of Heroes quest.
How to complete the Stargazer Quest
The Stargazer quest has six steps, with each step having one or more objectives. Completing some of the steps will reward you with a random Tier 1 gear.
Stargazer Step 1
For the first step, you simply need to go do the Terminal Overload event in Neomuna, clear it, and loot the Terminal Overload chest at the end.
Stargazer Step 2
For the second step, you will need to defeat the Vex Hydra in the Esi Terminal to obtain a high-security passcode. It is a guaranteed key item to get upon defeating the Hydra.
Stargazer Step 3
The third step will require you to obtain a Terminal Overload Key. These keys can be obtained as chance drops from doing the activities in Neomuna, but the best way of obtaining them is by raising your rank with Nimbus and unlock the Terminal Overload Key Bounty which will unlock the Terminal Rewards Bounty.
The Terminal Rewards Bounty is a daily bounty that will have you open up three Terminal Overload chests and part of its rewards is a Terminal Overload Key.
Stargazer Step 4
Once you have obtained a Terminal Overload Key, you can then do another Terminal Overload activity and open the bonus chest with it to complete this step.
Stargazer Step 5
For the fifth step, head back to the Hall of Heroes and interact with the marked memorial to repair it.
Stargazer Step 6
Finally, go back to Quinn and report your progress to complete the quest.
You will then be rewarded with a random Tier 1 gear from the Lightfall loot pool.
