When will Escape from Tarkov be available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S Consoles?

Escape from Tarkov is a game that hasn’t been making a lot of marketing noise as compared to the other looter-shooter games that came out around the same time it did, but it slowly grew its community and still has a very active player base.

It has been only on PC ever since it became playable, and so these questions were asked: will it ever be playable on consoles like the previous and current-gen XBox and Playstation? And if so, when will it be?

When will Escape from Tarkov be playable on PlayStation and Xbox Consoles?

Right now, there have been no announced dates on when we can play Escape for Tarkov on an Xbox Series X or a PS5, not even on the previous-gen consoles. However, there is still hope.

In one short interview back in June of 2020, Battlestate Games’ lead developer Nikita Buyanov has at least confirmed that bringing Escape from Tarkov to consoles is being “planned”.

Despite the playable state of the game right now, Escape from Tarkov is still in beta and has been on beta for more than 4 years now, ever since the closed beta went live back in July 2017. The game is still constantly getting updates from time to time, with the most recent updates being their Christmas event patches, plus they will be participating in this year’s T w itch Drops Event.

Because of how active the beta development currently is and how big the following of the game is becoming, especially on Twitch, it’s safe to say that we can still hope that console players can go on raids all around Tarkov one day.
