Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit or better known as ESGS has returned to the Philippines once more with more activities and fun interactions that local Pinoy gamers have been wanting to experience for a long time.
During the event at SM Mall of Asia in the SMX Convention Center, there were tons of gamers including cosplayers who attended the event. Many of these people have intriguing costumes that pay tribute to their favorite video games and because of that, we have created our top 5 cosplays of ESGS 2022 below:
Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza) by Jeremiah Cuyas
From one of SEGA’s most popular franchises, Kiryu has come to life and at no better time, SEGA is about to release a new Yakuza game this coming February and fans are willing to give it all.
Talim (Soul Calibur) by kiNICKilig
Strikingly meek, innocent, kind, moderate, and nice in contrast to the rest of the Soul Series cast, Talim has arrived at ESGS to make sure that no one forgets one of BANDAI’s classic fighting games of all time. Countess Alcina Dimitrescu (Resident Evil Village) by Coach Marlette Besa
A very dark and sinister character has arrived in ESGS and the Countess is here to show that she is imposing no matter what. Her eerie form and sharp long needles make her a deadly adversary and all who face her are sent to their doom.
Xiao (Genshin Impact) by Yuyu Heinz
In ESGS 2022, Mihiyo has become one of the biggest attractions of the event and one cosplayer has decided to pay tribute to Genshin Impact by cosplaying as one of the deadly warriors of Genshin, Xiao. Posing these unique poses in the game, his incredible aura, and all have made him overall great.
Arataki Itto (Genshin Impact) by Calex Romero
The proud descendant of the crimson oni, Itto has arrived at ESGS and armed with his giant sword and packed with his ascension items, he is ready to bring out a storm of craziness to Genshin once more. Preferably, one of the best cosplays of the day, and hope to see more of what this cosplayer can do in the future.
