New events mean greater rewards for many gamers, especially those playing Final Fantasy XIV. For the past couple of years, the game has brought out a variety of new updates that is worth the play. Recently, the new year has begun and it is expected that FF XIV will be launching its first event of the year called Heavensturn. In this guide, we’ll go through the specifics of the event, including the loot players may expect to receive, so read on.
What is Heavensturn in Final Fantasy XIV?
Heavensturn is is an annual event on Final Fantasy XIV themed after New Year’s Day and focused on the eastern traditions of the festivity. This event was launched on December 31, 2022, and will end on January 16, 2023.
For this year, the theme of the event is called Lots and Lots of Sacred Lots. All the realm is abrim with excitement in anticipation of the new year, and indeed, the sounds of merriment can be heard nowhere more strongly than in the streets of Limsa Lominsa, where delegates from the Far East have arrived in hopes of sharing their festive traditions. The usagi bugyo would have your aid in ensuring the celebration of Heavensturn is a success, and has prepared a handsome reward should you be willing to offer it.
All Final Fantasy XIV Heavensturn Quests
In this event there are a total of 2 quests that players can participate in and are very easy to complete. These events will reward players with items that will prove to be useful for them in their future endeavors for Final Fantasy XIV. The quests are:
The Box Of Fortune
To start this event, players must reach level 15 or higher. Afterward, they must travel to Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks and speak to Usagi Bugyo (X:11.5, Y:13.9). Accept the quest that players will be tasked. Then, speak to the Far Eastern Omikujishi (X:11.7, Y:14.2). Spread his word by the speaking to the following people in the map in any order:
- Rhoswen – Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:12.8, Y:13.8)
- Trachraet – Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:12.7, Y:12.8)
- I’tolwann – Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.5, Y:10.9)
- Beaudefoin – Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.0, Y:11.3)
After speaking to all of them, return back to the Far Eastern Omikujishi (X:11.7, Y:14.2) and players will receive a fortune as their reward.
With Great Fortune Comes Great Responsibility
In every event of FF XIV, there are armor pieces that players can earn. In this quest, players will be able to earn them by following these steps.
After competing The Box Of Fortune quest, talk to the Far Eastern Omikujishi again to receive a new quest. Afterward, use the rally emote on Beaudefoin (X:11.7, Y:14.2) and then, the pysch emote on him as well. A cutscene will play and then head to Lower La Noscea and interact with Beaudefoin (X:24.3, Y: 24.9).
Return to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks and speak once more with the Far Eastern Omikujishi (X:11.7, Y:14.2). Players will then, not only complete the quest but will receive the following rewards:
- Heavensturn Domaru
- Heavensturn Kote
- Heavensturn Haidate
- Heavensturn Sune-Ate
- ‘Hoppy New Year’ achievement
Heavenstrun Event Limited Items
There are items that players can buy from shops in the game using gil and most of these items are used for decorating one’s private space and are easy to get. To get them, talk to the Usagi Shonin Festival Supplier in Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.3, Y:13.6) to purchase these seasonal wares:
- Zoni – 16 gil
- Magicked Prism (Advent Cakes) – 19 gil
- Heavensturn Crane Banner (Furnishing) – 6000 gil
