Fire Emblem Engage has a total of 26 chapters in the main story. This includes paralogues or side missions, which are side quests and other miscellaneous activities that can be found in each subsequent chapter.
The Fire Emblem franchise has always divided its story neatly into different chapters. Engage has more chapters in comparison to its predecessor, Three Houses. However since Fire Emblem Engage doesn’t offer the split routes of Three Houses, a longer game length is more understandable.
Each chapter in Engage usually ends with a battle after story development progresses where you’ll recruit more characters and learn more about how to defeat the Fell Dragon. In between each chapter, you’ll get some downtime to relax in Somniel where you can bond with your units and Emblem Rings, participate in side activities, and see how everyone is doing.
