Weekly challenges are the best way to level up your battle pass in Halo Infinite. And they currently are the only way to level up your event pass. So if you want that sweet Yoroi Armor Core from the Tenrai event, you’re going to need to do your weekly challenges.
Playing Halo Infinite multiplayer is all about finishing the weekly challenges. Throughout the week, you’ll be given a variety of tasks to complete, each of which will contribute to your Battle Pass’s progression. Each week, a bonus Ultimate Reward is awarded to players who complete all of the challenges.
But the problem comes when a weekly challenge is just impossible to do, how do you reset them? When do Halo Infinite weekly challenges reset? Here’s all the information on weekly challenges rest you need to know.
When Do Halo Infinite Weekly Challenges Reset
Halo Infinite weekly challenges reset every Tuesday 12:00 p.m. EST (US) or 5:00 p.m. GMT (UK) or converted to local time depending on where you live in the world as follows:
Reset Time | Time Zone |
9:00 a.m. | PST (West Coast) |
12:00 p.m. | EST (East Coast) |
4:00 p.m. | UTC |
5:00 p.m. | BST / GMT (UK) |
6:00 p.m. | CET (European) |
In contrast, the Daily Challenges reset the same time every day.
The reset is necessary in order to get new Weekly Challenges, and of course, you’re also going to have to finish your current Weekly Challenges before Tuesday or else they’ll get replaced with something else.
Once your Weekly Challenges rest, you will lose whatever progress you’ve made. So if you’ve done 19 kill assists, but need 20 for the ultimate reward then you’re out of luck.
How to Reset Your Halo Infinite Weekly Challenges
There are two ways to reset your weekly challenges. If you want new weekly challenges, specifically ones that are event exclusive challenges, then you need to change your weekly challenges yourself without waiting.
During an event like Fractures Tenrai, you can change your weekly challenges by completing a weekly challenge. This will replace it with another challenge of which you have until the next Tuesday 12 PM Eastern Time to do. This is especially useful when you’re trying to level up your event pass as not every weekly challenge will allow you to do so.
Alternatively you can also use Challenge Swaps which can be bought on the Halo Infinite store or earned via Battle Pass to swap out weekly challenges you don’t like.
Halo Infinite Weekly Challenges Not Working
The weekly challenge system is designed in such a way that only a certain number of challenges are active for the time period.
In the event that you don’t own the Premium Battle Pass, only three are currently active. If you own the Premium Battle Pass, you will have an extra challenge slot. Halo Infinite’s weekly challenges do not track if the challenge you want to complete is currently inactive.

How to Use Challenge Swaps in Halo Infinite
Challenge Swaps is a consumable that can replace an active challenge totally – one that is not even in your “upcoming” challenge pool.
Challenge Swaps are in-game items that may be earned through the Battle Pass or purchased with in-game currency from the store.
Challenge Swaps can be used to help you complete challenges, if you’re having a hard time completing one. The difficulty and XP reward of challenges swapped will be the same as the one you are replacing.
What Resets Every Week for Halo Infinite Weekly Challenges?
Since your weekly challenges will reset every week, the Ultimate Reward offered to you will also reset. If you complete all the weekly challenges you had for that week, you’ll get a reward that encourages you to finish all of them.
The Halo Infinite store will also refresh its content on offer per Tuesday 12PM. Each Tuesday will have new cosmetics and items on offer.
With how many people are complaining about Halo Infinite’s progression system, we expect that 343 may soon be doing some rework to the battle pass. In which case, the reset schedule for weekly challenges may also be affected.
