Kratos will be facing against a gauntlet of foes in the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC. Even the Ghost of Sparta and his fierce combat abilities will take some time to go through the toughest challenges the Norse pantheon has to offer. Be prepared to set some time aside if you want to take on the Valhalla DLC.

For players who want to know how much time they need to finish God of War Ragnarök Valhalla, here’s how long it’ll take to beat.

How long to beat God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC?

God of War Ragnarok Valhalla will take somewhere between 4 to 6 hours in order to beat for most players. This new mode not only puts players in a gauntlet against new combinations of foes but there’s also a story included where Kratos must confront his own history.

The Valhalla DLC does introduce 12 new trophies to include in the God of War Ragnarok trophies. If you’re looking to collect them all, you can expect your playtime to exceed more than 6 hours.

God of War Ragnarök Valhalla is a roguelite so expect retries to be part of the process. However it isn’t just an arena as the Valhalla DLC is an emotional journey for Kratos. You’ll also be treated to cutscenes that center around how Kratos feels about his past as the Ghost of Sparta and the Greek God of War.

God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC combat

The Valhalla DLC will push you into mastering Kratos’ weapons against the best the Norse mythology has to offer. You have to adapt to new enemy combinations or else keep dying until you do so.

Once you get started on God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, you can pick between five difficulty options. The rewards you get are tied to what difficulty you select with higher difficulties offering the best rewards. Depending on how good you are at Ragnarök’s combat, you could breeze through some of the harder difficulties of the Valhalla DLC or have a tough time against the gauntlet of foes.

With all this said, God of War Ragnarok Valhalla isn’t going to take much of your time but it’s the perfect finale for Kratos’ journey after the events of the game.
