Redacted is one of the various Missing Weapons Lost & Found quests that can be done in Dead Island 2 which rewards players with the legendary Bodycount rifle upon completion. In this quest, players will follow a paper trail that suggests that a top-secret weapon has been shipped and hidden somewhere in the military camp.

Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Redacted Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2.

How to start the Redacted Lost & Found quest?

To start the Redacted Lost & Found quest, go to the barracks in Venice Beach and look for a zombie named Lt. Ford. In case he doesn’t spawn, you will need to progress further into the story. Killing Lt. Ford will make him drop the [REDACTED] journal, which will start the quest.

How to complete the Redacted Lost & Found quest?

As the [REDACTED] journal suggests, you will need to check Container 78, which is by the beach. Head west and look for the lander ship, where you will find Container 75. Climb up Container 75 and use the planks to cross over to Container 78, where there will be a hole you can jump into. Break the wooden crates and kill the burster inside the container. You will then be able to get the Damaged In-Transit Journal.

Now, make your way towards Container 58, which is near the tower. As you approach it, zombies from the inside will open the container. Defeat all of them, and you will get the Special Delivery Journal.

After obtaining the Special Delivery Journal, head further to the northwest area, where the rest of the shipping containers are kept. Then, locate Container 66, which is not too far from the tower. Go to the back side of the container, where you can shut off the generator powering the electric puddle. Then, enter the container and break the wooden crates inside to reveal the stash called Priority Asset.
