How to Get Rusty Medal in Remnant 2

The Rusty Medal in Remnant 2 isn’t just a symbol of prestige and honor. Certain items can be used to form Engrams which allow you access to specific archetypes that change the way your character plays. One of them is the Rusty Medal, which lets you get the Hunter Engram, but the game doesn’t specifically tell you where to get it. No need to search by yourself; you can read our guide to help you.

Where to Get Rusty Medal in Remnant 2?

Rusty Medal can be bought from Brabus in Ward 13 for 1,500 Scrap. This item can be taken to Wallace to forged into the Hunter Engram for 1,000 Scrap and 10 Lumenite Crystals.

Ward 13 is home to numerous merchants who’ll sell you crafting items like the Rusty Medal. You can find Brabus who’s selling it near the firing range. He’s in charge of security and will also sell you weapons for the right price. Once you get the Rusty Medal, you’re going to want to take it to Wallace who’s over by the docks.

You’re most likely going to be looking for items like the Rusty Medal when you’re unlocking your second archetype. Or maybe you just want to change archetypes. Either way, you’ll need the Rusty Medal in order to do so. And it isn’t exactly going to be cheap.

As you know, Scrap is Remnant 2’s primary currency type. At 1,500 Scrap a single Rusty Medal is the same price as a Simulacrum. It’s enough to buy a new gun. And even then you still have to pay an additional 1,000 Scrap and 10 Lumenite Crystals before it becomes something worth it. That’s 2,500 Scrap and 10 Lumenite Crystals in total.

That good news is that it’s worth it if you want to be a Hunter archetype. Competing with the Gunslinger, this archetype specializes at dealing damage at range. Think of it like Remnant 2’s sniper class where your chances of dealing increased critical hits are raised. It’s very useful against bosses and with weapons like the Plasma Cutter, you’ll be a force to reckon with.
