During the beginning of the expansion, you’ll be able to tap into the Strand subclass to get a taste of using it for yourself. However your Guardian will grow tired after using its power too much and the mission ends. The Strand subclass has a significant presence in the Lightfall missions as Osiris teaches you how to harness its power regardless of your class.
This subclass is only available to those who own a copy of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion. Without the expansion, you won’t be able to play the campaign so access to it is otherwise impossible.
