How To Unlock The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda in LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

How you can play as Mando and Baby Yoda!

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is now available for purchase and fans are already enamored to the numerous characters that they can unlock in this game. Some came for the main saga, others came for the side story characters, while there are others who wanted to try out the game after they became fans of the few cartoon and TV series.

One of those TV series is The Mandalorian, and fans are already looking for the honorable bounty hunter and the cute Baby Yoda also known as Grogu. Here is how you can unlock these two fan-favorite characters in the game.

In order to get the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, you will only need to get The Mandalorian Season 1 DLC pack. Yes, they are not normally unlocked by completing an episode in the game, completing a sidequest, or doing a certain activity, but they are added via a DLC pack.

Players who bought The Deluxe Edition of LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga will be able to get these two characters plus a few more right away. No need for unlocking them in the game, it will automatically add the characters to the roster.

For those who bought the standard edition of the game, they will need to buy The Mandalorian Season 1 DLC pack or invest in the Character Collection Season Pass. Check out the contents below.

The Mandalorian Season 1 DLC Character Pack includes:

  • The Mandalorian
  • Grogu (Unplayable)
  • Greef Karga
  • Cara Dune
  • IG-11
  • Kuiil

Unfortunately, Baby Yoda/Grogu will not be playable in the game. In order to see him, just play as the Mandalorian. He will be following the bounty hunter around and that is it. He has no other purpose just to follow him around.

Baby Yoda/Grogu could still be playable in the future though if the developers plan to add The Mandalorian Season 2 as a new Character DLC pack. We will have to wait and see.
